Would give this B&B 10/10

I was on a leisure break with my sister. We had a lovely big bedroom with two double beds and en-suite . Cathy the owner was so helpful, friendly and made us feel ‘at home’ We were also able to use the dining room to chill and watch TV if we wanted. The breakfast was really good and Cathy gave us a choice to order whatever we wanted. This B&B was excellent value and is very near the village of Doonbeg.

Loved it

We loved the owner Kathy, who was so lovely, helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were huge and more American standard than European. The rest of the guest quarters were so very rustic, unique and confortable that we felt completely at home. Breakfast was wonderful-the usual full Irish to get you thru till supper. Location wise, its 10 min to Dunbeg (nothing too special there) but 10 min more to Kilkee where the beach and restraunts/shops are wonderful.

After a long drive around the Dingle peninsula it would have been nicer to be in town to walk to things, but this made us happy we stayed there. Kathy is an amazing hostess!

From the second we met with Cathy the owner, we were welcomed in and shown to our rooms, the facilities are amazing with a common room for relaxing. If you are near Doonbeg, this is an ABSOLUTE Must stay location.

Beautiful characterful and friendly Bed and Breakfast

We attended a wedding at Doonbeg International Golf Club and booked Behan Lodge for 1 night. We had a great nights sleep in very comfortable beds. Cathy is very warm and welcoming and the B&B has great character and reflects the original building dated from the 1740’s. Breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend this lovely B&B as a base for exploring this area of County Clare.

The owner was amazing. She was so friendly and welcoming. The facility had a great common room that was just outside our room with a large fireplace and comfy chairs. Breakfast was full Irish. Very quiet for sleeping.

Fantastic hosting. Very personable host who went above and beyond for me. Cathy took me to my car in the morning so I could save on a taxi fare. The breakfast was cooked to my personal liking.
