Go out of you way for this one.

This is the surprise you wait for. A country hotel that just stands out. To the owners and staff I congratulate you. Meal at the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast was a delight. Didn't want to leave.,

Only a suggestion, strongly recommend with the changes in vehicle power that is happening. Put in some electric car charges.

Felt like home.

Loved the place so much, it felt so homely. This is an old building and the decor was very fitting to this. The food was amazing, the staff were so lovely. Will definitely be back again. Just a side note with this being an old building there is no A/C but a fan is provided in the room. Will be recommending this place to everyone and anyone.

Sheedy’s Hotel was exactly what I look for in a hotel when I’m going to a new culture.

The breakfast was home cooked by an excellent chef. There was local produce, unique Irish soda bread, porridge, homemade muesli, jams, fish, eggs. Perfect for a person interested in fine, local cuisine. Not perfect for the safe diner

Wish we had a magnifying mirror for shaving and make-up. The lighting in the bathroom was dim. Shower cubicle was small and shower curtain was a bit awkward to use.

A real jewel

Spacious bedroom, luxuriously equipped, felt very much at home. Warm welcome, and a quick Guiness in the bar in front of the fire, before an exquisite meal in restaurant using the very best local produce, thoroughly enjoyable. Small enough to get to know the other guests. Loved our stay.

Very nice traditional hotel with a personal touch

Sheedy's is a comfortable traditional hotel with large rooms and a staff eager to please. What made it special was the personal attention that the host gives to guests. She anticipates your needs and preferences, and tries to make you feel very welcome. Food was excellent. The location is a small town at the center of the Atlantic Coast tourist area that includes the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. The town is walkable and has a popular local tavern, also with excellent dining. There is a free bus to the most-important tourist spots, though I feel having a car makes other interesting areas accessible.

My only complaint was that my room had a desk that was not comfortable for work on the computer. It was a nice old-fashioned desk that was too high. There is no ATM in Lisdoonvarna, so get euros ahead of time.

Wonderful stay in Sheedy's Hotel. Martina and the staff were very attentive, helpful and welcoming. The ambience and facilities are outstanding. The location couldn't be any better. Lovely little hotel on the edge of Lisdoonvarna, great location/parking for the burren, coast, Doolin, Cliffs of Mother. Martina was very welcoming and informative. Quiet spacious rooms with views of the lush green surroundings. A good few options for a very tasty breakfast including Bailey's in your porridge, it was yum! A relaxing and comfortable stay. Would happily return again, Christina and Neil
