The property is beautiful - you can tell it used to be a lovely place to stay but now it feels like a ghost of its past self. The staff and atmosphere of the place is off and you don’t really feel welcome at all when you’re there. It almost feels like you’re intruding on the people who are residents there.
The staff is not very welcoming or helpful/available. The rooms are cold at night and most of the other residents are older men who you can tell live there rather than travelers.

Location, size of room, great kitchen facilities.
That you could only get wi fi in common areas, and not your room

Good location, clean enough
Check in time at 5 pm, 2 hrs later than most. Check out at 10, too early. Dorm bed has no covers nor individual light, made it hard for in n out, hv to wake up the whole room or in total darkness. Staff barely speak English.

Room was clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed and the place was nice and quiet. Location was handy, right in Lisdoonvarna town and pretty close to Doolin.

Fantastic service friendly, welcoming, respectful customer service.

The facilities are really good and the location is perfect within a small town but close to the cliffs.
The doors slam pretty loud so i could hear other rooms doors slamming quite late which was a bit annoying. Also there was no close external toilets to the room only one in the room which in a 10 person room could get a bit annoying.

Staff were very kind and helpful. It was quiet, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It was nice that they provided sheets and towels, too. The kitchen was also well stocked with equipment, which was very helpful.

This place is big and spacious. There is a large common area and a very well-equipped kitchen where you can cook anything; the interior of the common places is delightful. There is free parking. Also, there are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets next door; on top of that, it is just a 15 minute drive away from the Cliffs of Moher. I will definitely be back there :) Special thanks to the friendly staff for the late night check-in :)

I had a mixed room, meaning it was shared with people of both sexes, with bunk beds. I had not been in a hostel for years, but had no choice, as other places were booked. It turned out to be a very friendly group, and everyone was very polite about sharing accommodations. I expected mostly college students, but most guests were in their thirties and were simply looking to save money. The only one who may have been a problem in sharing a room was me. I had to get up at 6 to catch a taxi to the airport. I had to do it in the dark, dressing and finishing packing in the bathroom in order not to disturb others, and I made more noise than I wanted. The bunk bed was very comfortable with a nice quilt that I could wrap up in. Staff were mostly Ukranian refugees, who have been housed in Lisdonvarna. English was limited, but they went out of their way to be helpful.
The fact that a shared room has to be kept dark if you get up early

This was a 10/10 hostel and it was such a lovely hostel. The location was amazing and it was very pretty. The person on reception was very friendly and lent me a hairdryer.
The ONLY negative was that I am 6ft1 inches tall and I was just too tall for the bed, as my head was touching the bars but so were my feet.

Overall, clean, and good for a one night stay. It’s about 15 minutes drive from Moher, a pub for dinner is located 3 minutes away (walking).
The lady at reception had already prepared keys and everything, so check in was very smooth and quick
Bathrooms would benefit of some renovations

The staff is friendly
The bathroom was just awful. Also, no towels and no toiletries we provided.
I wouldn't even complain if it didn't cost like a good 4 star hotel in some other part of Europe

I love this hostel as we have stayed here for years, naturally due to Covid we had not been for a few years but when we went back it was still as comfortable and the staff are always lovely.
I am very sorry to have to say this but it was definitely more expensive than previous years, which of course was to be expected.

Paola and colleagues dealt with so much, yet were always pleasant and helpful. They maintain a very high standard of cleanliness: mirrors, pictures, vacuuming and constant attention to kitchen. Kindness to a cat in the garden.
When fire alarm went off in error at night. However, Paola apologised so graciously the morning after.

The smell of mould throughout the building. It is obviously closed for much of the year!

Very nice common area on the ground floor to sit and relax or play pool. Also very friendly staff at reception.
Unfortunately the bedframe and my mattress were quite worn out.
