Absolutely amazing place to stay on our way to our honeymoon

The location was absolutely lovely. Marie was so friendly and willing to answer any questions we had! The room was quiet and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and the fact that Marie made some of the breads and muffins made the whole experience grand!! I would recommend this place to anyone passing through to Doolin.

There was honestly nothing to complain about. Marie made sure our stay was perfect.

Lovely lodging with a friendly host who goes above and beyond to provide a pleasant stay for guests.

We loved this place! Check-in was easy. Communication beforehand was very good. We were given a large, comfortable room on the ground floor, which I did not expect. Our affable host, Marie, greeted us when we arrived and took time to chat with us in the morning. It was as pleasure meeting her, and we felt very welcome. The breakfast room was beautiful, and stocked with an array of healthy and tasty light food and drink options. Our room was beautifully decorated, our bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable. The country surroundings were lovely, and we were just a short drive from the main town of Doolin, where we enjoyed a good dinner at McGann's Pub. Onsite parking was of course a nice amenity as well. We highly recommend this B&B!

Bed & room was great. Bathroom & shower were clean and very nice. Owner gave great advice on where to go for dinner in the area which was phenomenal!

I just wish the coffee with breakfast was better. Many of these B&Bs have coffee machines that make many different coffee drinks. All of !these coffee options are mediocre. I like a good cup of black coffee in the morning

Marie was an exceptional host who was a pleasure to meet and interact with. Her B&B was very comfortable and clean. The Continental Breakfast was tasty and filling, and included several home baked items. Additionally, Marie was quick to share local knowledge and recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. Overall, one of the lodging highlights of our trip to Ireland.

Super friendly, helpful host provided comfortable, very clean lodging in Doolin.

The host, Marie, was so very helpful in answering all our questions - everything from weather to roads (to other cities we were interested in visiting) to local shopping to wait times we might experience at local attractions. She provided good selections of breakfast foods and access to appliances like coffee makers. The rooms were very clean and well equipped to insure comfort. I would highly recommend a stay at Knockaguilla House B & B if you are planning a stay in Doolin.

We had a relaxed time staying at Knockaguilla House.

Marie greeted us on arrival and was very helpful in recommending places to eat and finding good traditional music in Doolin. The room was clean and we had everything we needed, including extra blankets and pillows. The continental breakfast offers a good variety of items, although it does not include eggs. We appreciated Marie making a special effort to say goodbye when we had an early departure. She is a gracious host.

Knockaguilla House is not located within walking distance of the center of Doolin, which we had not realized. But Marie gave us good driving directions for getting into town and advice for parking.

This is a lovely place to stay - exceeded our expectations. The owner was so friendly and accommodating even though we were late. The room was large and comfortable - also nicely furnished. Highly recommend when coming to the area!

A homely, welcoming, friendly and clean B&B

This was a lovely, homely and cosy B&B! We were there for 1 night and had such a nice stay in a very cost and clean room. It was like a home from home. Easy to find and easy to check in. On a lovely estate and easy to drive to some great restaurants and pubs. Marie was a lovely and friendly host, nice to chat to her about the area! Breakfast was delicious and we loved the homemade bread and muffins. We would highly recommend and we would re book again if we’re ever back in Doolin, it’s a beautiful place and a must visit!

It was so comfortable and clean and fresh. Lovely decor and a warm homely feel. Our host Marie was wonderful and accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was bright with a lovely view across the fields. Breakfast was healthy and fresh with lots of choices. You must try Marie’s homemade brown bread… loved it!!

All we could have wanted, and more!

Marie was an excellent host, incredibly kind and accommodating. The rooms were very homely and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding area were absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was extremely tasty, and the star of the show was definitely the homemade traditional Irish brown bread, so good in fact that we had to ask for the recipe ourselves! When we are next in Doolin, we will be sure to book another stay.

Couldn't have asked for a better B&B near the Cliffs of Moher!

We loved everything about our stay at the Knockaguilla House Bed & Breakfast. Marie and her family are wonderful and gave us lots of great local recommendations. The breakfast was convenient and delicious, especially Marie's incredible homemade banana muffins and brown bread. Also, the house was in a beautiful location and situated close to the Cliffs of Moher and ferries to the Aran Islands. It's clear Marie loves what she does based on the amount of effort that she puts into making her guests feel comfortable and welcome. If we stay in the Doolin area again, we will be going back to the Kockaguilla House B&B!

We enjoyed the comfortable, clean room, and Marie’s kind and welcoming demeanor.

My only complaint would be the breakfast honestly. In my experience in the UK, Ireland and even the USA a Bed and Breakfast serves a full, usually nice breakfast. Don’t get me wrong Marie served enough food items to get one full, but it was lacking if I’m being honest, not even a hard boiled egg. You would find more variety at a Best Western continental breakfast. I just feel that if we are using the term Bed and Breakfast a nice breakfast, with some cooked items is important to provide.

Lovely BnB

We had a very pleasant stay! Marie was always super friendly and lovely, she gave us very helpful tips for our trip to the cliffs and was helpful in every way. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was super comfy, we also enjoyed the high pressure of the shower which we missed in other BnBs. The breakfast was also very good, especially the banana muffins for which I hope to receive the recipe! Would definitely recommend this BnB :)

Relaxed and welcoming B&B

Beautiful room, totally private with en-suite bathroom. Our bed was super comfy and we had the best rest here. Our breakfast was fresh and there was quite a variety of foods to choose from, from fresh fruit cut and uncut. To freshly baked waffles and bread, more than enough coffees and teas to suit anyone's tastes and pallete. Our hostess was very accommodating and friendly and ensured that our stay was comfortable and welcoming.

The breakfast was the standard continental but nicely presented and well stocked with quality food and drinks. Very cute and comfortable breakfast area. Owner was a sweetheart and very accommodating. We loved it. It's located out in the country with beautiful, rural setting. Upon leaving the next day we just sat on the bench in the front yard and took it all in for about a half hour. It was wonderful.

Modern, clean rooms with thoughtful touches. Gorgeous breakfast spread- if you can get a piece of Marie's homemade brown bread, definitely do. Owner was lovely. Our favorite lodging on our trip so far.

Beautiful house and very comfortable queen sized bed. Breakfast was just lovely. Hosts were inviting and friendly. Lovely and green all around us!
