The Mountain Aven guesthouse in Doolin was a real find. The property was beautifully decorated throughout. Deirdre was a wonderful host. The whole property was spotless and very comfortable, with thoughtful toiletries in the bathroom. The guest lounge (with complimentary teas/ coffees and biscuits) was a lovely space to relax in. As a person with mobility problems, I found the house to be easy to navigate (no steps to the bedroom or the lounge/dining room!). The breakfast was delicious and, as well as the hot breakfast dishes, the buffet table included cereals, brown scones, cakes and fresh fruit & yoghurt. We were well-fed!
As a person with mobility issues, I found the guesthouse to be very easy to navigate (though the bed was a little on the high side for me... I'm not the tallest!). The outside of the property included a short step (this I was aware of before my stay. Thanks Deirdre for the information!). Unfortunately, the driveway had gravel which is very problematic for those with mobility problems. More of a path would have been helpful. Having said that, once inside the property, it was perfect for my needs.

The property was spotlessly clean well located close to the village.Beds were comfortable.Breakfast was 5 Star.Deidre was on point meeting all the guests making sure everything was ok for you.
