The host was extremely kind and provided a lot of great recommendations. The appartment was pretty and well located to visit Doolin, the cliffs and the Burren.
The bed was a bit rattly.

Elaine was a great host, welcoming and very friendly, with lots of local history and places to see and visit.
The small roads for driving are hard to navigate, especially for those that have never driven on the left side of the road! A TV in the room would of been helpful.

Our host was wonderfully welcoming, thoughtful and made lots of great recommendations for places to visit, eat, experience in and around Doolin and also our onward stops which were all brilliant. The traditional music was wonderful and access to the Aran Islands incredibly easy for a day trip.
Nothing l didn’t like but for others, the cottage isn’t really in walking distance to the town but we had a car so it wasn’t a problem for us.

The location was great. We rented a car in Shannon and the countryside drive to this cottage was such a breath of fresh air after our stay in Dublin. It's right up the road from Doolin, where we walked the Cliffs trails and saw some stunning views.

The cottage had lots of character and had everything we needed.
Close to town but far enough away to be quiet & peaceful.
Elaine, who hosts the accomodation was lovely and very helpful with local information
A bit pokey and small but just a minor issue.

The location was fine and the owner was very nice to deal with and gave us lots of suggestions on where to explore.
There was no table of any kind for reading or eating. A small table outside would have been fine.

Perfect little cottage. Beautiful in every way. I wish we had more time. We didn’t want to leave. Elaine is a fantastic host and we were made feel welcome from the first moment we stepped foot in the door. We will be back!

The host is lovely and supportive.
The cottage is super clean and was exactly what we needed for a small stopover.

The peace and quiet of the location was amazing. It is close enough to drive to the amenities within minutes but away enough to embrace the calm. The cottage is very authentic but has been decorated in a lovely stylish way bringing it up to date. It is very clean, fresh and comfortable.
Elaine was a lovely welcoming host. She is knowledgeable on the area so a great source of information. We loved our short stay.
So much to see and do in the area.

Very friendly and welcoming host who gave us lots of tips for places to visit including walks close by. Comfy, cosy room, very clean, lots of tea & coffee available plus breakfast items (which we actually took along with us to snack on during the day). A great base to explore the beautiful County Clare.
Very minor point, but the sink in the bathroom is a bit small, making it hard to fill the kettle.

Completely off the grid - no service or wifi. So nice to disconnect. But be sure to have your taxi’s pre booked and dinner reservations made. 30 minute walking distance from Doolin village. Tea/coffee and snacks left out for us. Elaine the hostess is such a lovely woman.

Nothing, I would move in tomorrow!!

Friendly owner. Gave me a lift into the village - her own suggestion!
Accommodation whilst modern and clean was very spartan. The bathroom sink was tiny, leaning over to brush teeth meant hitting my head against the mirror behind it. No wifi, no television or radio. No breakfast other than a carton of yoghurt and a brioche from a packet.
Very poor value for money.

Breakfast not provided but we were glad of the tea and coffee facilities.
More towel rails in the bathroom would have been helpful.

The location was great, it was only a little hard because we don’t drive but Elaine was very kind in that she offered us lifts into the main town of Doolin herself.
We really don’t have any complaints, the room was lovely, clean and bathroom just as nice.

Elaine was an exceptional host, she couldn't have done more to make my stay the best. As a fellow cyclist she provided a secure place for my bike, gave me tips on my journey the next day, drove me into the village to get dinner and provided great evening company. Brilliant!
