A beautiful retreat

The place is beautifully kept and spotless. The breakfast items available are a real highlight, a wonderful extra touch. Our host also shared excellent tips on what to see and do around the region. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend.

One Night Stay

Great option for us because we needed somewhere convenient to Ennistymon and couldn't get to the accomodation until late at night. The lock box entry meant we could arrive at any time that suited us. The shared kitchen provided for lots of options for us to use the facilities and food provided. We brought some extras along to suit our own tastes. The room was comfortable and spacious.

Peaceful, comfortable, and amazing!

This lovely property was clean and tidy with lots of options for tea and coffee and breakfast items we loved. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. We felt relaxed and comfortable the whole time.

Great guesthouse

This place was excellent. The owner was very friendly. I liked how there were some small food items available for us to use in the kitchen. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean also. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Awesome Retreat!

We felt home right after stepping into the house. This is a quiet place, lovely designed and hosted with care. You certainly feel that the owner wants you to feel home. There is a kitchen with all you need to cook and help yourself to a nice cup of tea - with their own milk. Cute bedrooms. If there's any question, you can reach someone and you will be helped along. Also there's books to read and you can have a chat with the owners that will give a your plenty of great ideas of what to visit nearby. This place is worth a trip and you should definitely stay more than 1 night!

An amazing little cottage that you can’t go wrong booking with

The location was amazing. 5 minutes or so from the pubs in town on quiet roads. Greeted by the owners was unexpected, but made our nights. The rooms were clean and went above and beyond to make sure everything was set.

Very little in the way of complaints. I felt like I was at home when walking back through the doors from a night out at the pubs. If I had to give some constructive criticism though, I’d say it would have been nice to have an easier wall outlet and maybe a floor fan to turn in the room.

Felt like a little 'Home Away From Home!' Five Stars.... All the Way!

A lovely oasis that felt very much like a home away from home. The kitchen was amply supplied with all of the basics... and so much more. The beds were very comfortable, and that alone is a fabulous reason to book with Harvest Moon. Sooooo much care and attention has been poured into this venue... the owners live right next door and are readily available to answer any and all of your questions.

Pretty much everything was wonderful... we had one small issue with the key when we entered the premises... but the owner fixed it on the spot! Talk about proactive!!!

Just was what I wanted perfectly situated between doolin and lisdoonvarna and kitchen fully stocked with anything you could think of and host world info on surrounding areas and places to see and things to do would definitely highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

We would recommend Harvest Moon and would stay there again.

Excellent common spaces where we enjoyed the breakfast, tea and coffee items provided as well as meeting other guests. The private suites were modern and well appointed. Harvest Moon is in an ideal location just outside Doolin where we had a great night out for dinner and enjoying the great pub scene. Highly recommend.

Charming and comfortable

We loved the charming and homely way it was decorated. The hosts really went above and beyond with a well-stocked communal kitchen and travel brochures. They made us feel really welcome and gave us helpful travel advice. The views from the room were beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was comfortable and spacious. We were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer!

Wonderful stay

Quiet location few minutes out of Doolin town . Advertised as accomodating only. However there are ample complimentary breakfast provisions provided. We even had lovely fresh croissant one morning. Highly recommend

Nice quiet rural location.

Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Some dust on skirting boards . A machine of some sort activated numerous times during the night . Kitchen area needs some cleaning and freshening up .

Lovely house near Doolin

Lovely house, super clean and quiet. Hosts were very nice, communication very good. Location is not too far from Doolin. Short drive, 50 min walk :-)

The location, a little remote, but lovely. And not really remote everything was close enough. Well appointed room and clean. Great to have a kitchen that was well appointed. Breakfast was really appreciated and more than sufficient

Clean, comfortable, basic - fulfilled our needs

This was room only accommodation so no staff available. You let yourself in with a code. Room was small and basic but comfortable. Very clean kitchen facilities available for self catering if required. Nice to meet other occupants, in our case, from Australia and New Zealand.

Bit of a drive to find the property maybe, and room was quite small.

We loved the views of the countryside. There was also a neighboring three legged dog that was incredibly friendly. The bed was comfortable. There was coffee available in the kitchen.

Everything we wanted and more.

Great location. Amazing views. Simple ready to eat breakfast foods/refreshments to help yourself to. It was very modern and well taken care of. The host was so lovely and had lots of suggestions for local spots. I would definitely stay again when I’m in Clare next.

Personally I prefer a firmer mattress as I have a bad back, but my partner found the beds perfectly comfortable. That was the only thing I could possibly say that I didn’t like, but that is a personal issue and not really something the host can prepare for. So mainly just flagging for anyone who also prefers a more supported sleeping surface for back issues.
