Great value comfortable stay
We stayed at the pipers rest for a local wedding. Check in was smooth and communication prior was great. There was plenty of parking outside and the location was perfect for us. We had a very comfortable room. The bed, pillows and duvet were excellent - we had a great sleep and they were excellent hotel quality. The bathroom had everything we needed including a face cloth specifically for removing makeup which is a brilliant idea. Additionally the room had tea & coffee and some good quality biccies left for us which was very much appreciated at the end of our night. We also had access to Netflix on the tv and plenty of sockets. There was no noise that we could hear from other rooms and it was in a really quiet road just off the main road. So we had no sleep disturbances. The method for ordering breakfast the night before was a really good idea to reduce waste and it made it efficient as our items were ready when we arrived in the morning. Everything we had was tasty and cooked how we requested. Overall it ticked all of the boxes for our 1 night stay and it is clearly a thoughtfully run B&B. We would stay again.
Our only downside was related to the breakfast. Everything we had was tasty and cooked how we requested. However, we did think it was a little bit small for a full Irish breakfast. We found that 1 rasher, 1 egg, 1 piece of toast each wasn’t enough that we should have been able to ask for 2 of each. We also would have expected it to include beans. I fully understand that you are aiming to reduce waste, so maybe the option to at least order additional items on the form might help accommodate this?

Warm and comfy
Good value. Really warm. Very comfortable. Doolin is a small town so easily walkable to local restaurants and pubs for dinner at night. Everything was really clean. They were able to accommodate our late check in.

A restful stay!
The Pipers Rest is a wonderful guest house in Doolin and within walking distance of all the local attractions. I highly suggest it as a holiday spot! The staff was very accommodating - they arranged to leave some croissants in the early morning when I had an early departure before the scheduled breakfast time.(Thank you!) I was quite impressed with their attention to waste management and being conscious of the environment. I found the room to be quiet and comfortable and it was nice to be set back off the main road through town. Were I to visit again, I don't think I would book another place!
I was very happy with the accomodations and have no complaints.
