This is an exceptional guest house in a stunning location. The level of renovation and attention to detail makes this a very comfortable and luxurious place to stay.

The check-in can be a little slow waiting for a staff member but that's my only quibble.

A beautiful and relaxing stay by the ocean

Beautifully renovated Victorian style house. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Lovely, attentive and professional staff. Excellent breakfast. Great attention to detail, we loved the welcome drink and nightcap. Really nice toiletries. A very comfortable and quiet stay by the ocean. We also had an excellent dinner in the Armada Hotel across the road. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

It’s difficult to find a fault to be honest but if I had to pick something, the tv in the room was in a little living room separate to the bed so you can’t watch tv in bed in that particular room that we stayed in. And the tv wasn’t a Smart tv so we couldn’t watch Netflix/YouTube etc. But it wouldn’t stop us from staying again!

A beautifully restored and very elegant historic house. The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was amazing and a lovely touch was giving us a gorgeous loaf of brown bread the morning we were leaving.

Incredible stay at Armada hotel. The staff were so lovely especially Susan at breakfast who could not have done more for us. The house is a great place to relax and unwind. The Armada hotel is just across the road and you have a beach moments away along with many walks.

An amazing stay that exceeded my expectations by a mile!

Everything was exceptional! The hospitality from Saoirse and Susan, the room (#5) decor and cleanliness, the luxurious bed linen, and the breakfast - such a delight. The attention to detail is superb.

It was a delight

We stayed at the hotel while attending a wedding and had a truly enjoyable experience. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a sense of calm that provided the perfect retreat from the busy atmosphere of the main hotel. Check-in was quick and seamless. The real highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast. Cooked fresh to order, it was not only delicious but also one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had in Ireland. What made it exceptional was the service from Susan. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging, and she elevated the whole experience with her attentiveness and charm. Susan’s hospitality turned breakfast into a real highlight of our trip, and we left feeling looked after and cared for. Thanks to her, along with the comfort of the hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The house is beautifully decorated and was calm and welcoming when I came to check in. There are 3 sitting rooms if you wish to leave your room to read or make a phone call etc

The bedroom was warm and I opened the beautiful sash window. The subsequent breeze caused the door to rattle. I needed to jam it with some paper. Not a dislike really.

A beautiful smaller hotel with a magnificent breakfast, friendly staff, and kind care.

The Armada House was extremely comfortable. Each room was special and had a unique character. The breakfast was magnificent - the food fresh and delicious, the service wonderful. We loved it. We even received a loaf of bread to take with us. The building itself is lovely and right across from the bigger Armada Hotel - which was an easy walk right across the street. The Armada Hotel offered 2 restaurants and a wonderful pub. The food was excellent. We felt as if we had the best of all worlds - we stayed at the smaller, boutique Armada House, but still had access to fine dining, pub, music, and a place to sit oceanfront right across the street. The staff at both were kind and gracious, and they were always trying to make our stay extra special. I will definitely return to the Armada House.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the place. One room (of the 6 we booked) had an issue with the lock, but the staff sorted that as quickly as they could.

A lovely stay

The house was beautiful. Kelly and the rest of the staff were terrific. The breakfast was amazing. Dinner across the way in the pub of the sister hotel was all we could ask for. Highly recommend staying here

Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Niall was very understanding and ensured my ninety year old Dad had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was fantastic and served by the delightful Kitty.The delicious brown bread, as a parting gift, a lovely idea. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Armada House.

My experience was exceptional, I stayed here the night before my wedding. The room had an interlocking room with mirrors and make up chairs for pre wedding prep. This entailed 8 of us getting ready the morning of my wedding with plenty of room. The view from the room was amazing, both windows had sea views. Also we got Prosecco and breakfast to the room which was "out of this world". To add to this we ordered coffee from GULLS cafe. The Armada staff and professionalism was nothing but outstanding. Thank you
