Very nice clean property near the airport.They do complimentary pick up from airport .Resort is big with beautiful lawns,swimming pool ,pool bar & 2 restaurants overlooking pool & sea .Rooms are big clean .The standout is a day bed outside our balcony.staff is courteous & always there to help with smile .lots of kids activities near the pool basket ball & Tt table the person near tt table is nice & helpful & breakfast selection is good as well

Location superb for easy access from airport nearby and for day trips to nearby tourist attractions such as Kuta , Waterbom. But Discovery Mall overrated as a shopping destination.

The large fishing monument on the beach near the hotel was disgustingly full of plastic waste trash on the surrounding beach and the pedestrian walk along the beach was a superhighway of local motorcyclists bypassing the roads to commute on the sidewalk very dangerous for families with children out for a beach walk to statue monument. Also hotel took two days to repair lack of hot water in bathroom. Rented two adjacent rooms but two models of room safe and posted instructions for both was the same but did not work as labels different. TV operation for kids to watch local cartoons was overly complicated defaulting to money generation by starting on Netflix and no instructions on how to switch to free local channels. No laminated TV operation instruction sheet in room. The switch at door entry not clear on accidental turning on NO ROOM SERVICE and kids think it’s a light switch as next to light switch and looks like light switch so some days accidentally no clean towels when hotel thinks no room service desired. KISS (keep it simple) applies…plastic DO NOT DISTURB sign hung on door best otherwise kids inadvertently turn off room service. Hotel could make switch flash red inside room if no service desired. The Air Conditioning controller not easy to understand and no posted instruction. The temperature controller doesn’t appear to adjust displayed temperature. The toilet paper falls off the holder as bar installation is reversed so pulling paper pulls paper tool onto floor as its location is behind user. Finally bathroom floor tile is same as main room. It is slippery when wet . Hotel should use non-slip tile in bathroom and in shower or have interim non-slip mats as I slipped twice. All purchased on promise not providing guest with purchase receipt. They keep all copies and many times fail to apply Discount code for members, be vigilant or no membership discount applied.

It is a great place for a family vacation with kids.

The facility is ideal for family vacation with several activities available for kids and young adults. We enjoyed Pool table, table soccer, swimming pool, Pool volleyball, Pool Basketball etc. In addition, my 9+ years' old kid enjoyed the free Kid's Club almost every day. Proximity to the beach was great, especially during the evening sunset time which were beautiful. Though the beach was not clean as it is a public beach. Some stretches were OK for dipping into the ocean. Staff were absolutely fantastic - very courteous, pleasant, helpful and made every effort to make sure we are fully supported. F&B options were decent with a great spread of morning breakfast, specialty western food restaurant Envy, and small cafe/ice cream parlor and the Pool bar adjoining the swimming pool. We did most of our dining in the resort during our 10-day stay. Overall, it was a great experience for a family vacation.

A private beach would have been ideal as the public beach was not clean.

Beach is not as it looks in the photo! It was mess and not private beach! The room we first checked in was bad damp smell and couldn't sleep. Changed to different room which was better

Amazing hotel, very clean and spacious. All of the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Meal options were outstanding and of very high quality. Superb value for money.

Just the location of the hotel detracts from the overall experience. The beach access and beach itself was poor, untidy and uninviting. Also the resort of Kuta needs major investment.

We had a good time staying at Holiday in Baruna. Value for money

Breakfast is really good. Our friend was sick and flight was due at 9.45pm. So hotel staff took extra care of them and give late check out time until 6pm which allow her to rest

Nice resort overall but expensive and no really value for money.

Requested room close to public area due to mobility issues. This expectation was meet.

Large conference groups (20+) using the tables at our back door to smoke all day and night .. unable to sit outside and clothes on rack stink of smoke. Breakfast expensive with no real western choices. Mainly Indian dishes.

Excellent food, location and service.

The location was perfect. Close to the airport with no plane noise. The resort was beautifully maintained and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We had the half board deal with included a variety of excellent food with exceptional variety and service. The pool was a lovely temperature and there were plenty of sun loungers for all. We will definitely be booking again.

Fabulous resort for families

Location was great. Hotel and surrounds were kept immaculate. Food was great. Staff were exceptional.

The only criticism was that the beds were a bit too firm and pillows were too soft.

Nice hotel not a great area outside of hotel

Clean and friendly

Thier checkin was slow we also not only got checked in later than we should have but our door in the second bedroom was locked and they had to call maintenece to fix this and took an hour so we were stuck in room like lemons and missed pool time for our one day stay so you pay over $400 a night to be stuck in your room due to thier silly door system.

Perfect if you want to be away from the busy city. Nice and quiet stay.

The room was clean and tidy, which made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was okay, but I felt it could benefit from more variety—particularly more cooked Western options that aren’t vegetarian. That said, the staff at the buffet breakfast were really nice and helpful, which definitely added a positive touch to the mornings.

I was surprised that the room didn’t have a desk or even a chair to sit on, despite having enough space for it. This made it a bit inconvenient, especially when trying to relax or do anything other than lie on the bed.

Down towards the airport and out of the hustle and bustle. Expensive accommodation, we usually stay at the Discovery Kartika Plaza but couldn’t get in this trip and the Holiday Inn was about $800 more expensive. Service from staff around the pool was poor you had to chase them up to get food or drink. Served curdled pina coladas on two occasions.

We liked absolutely everything. The staff is just great. Special thanks to Maikel, it is because of him that we are thinking of returning to this hotel again next year. We would also like to mention Indri from the Envy restaurant. Thanks to all the hotel staff for a wonderful holiday.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding staff, the customer service was impeccable. At breakfast, there is a small feedback sheet, what more can they do. I had suggested baked beans. The next morning, during breakfast staff approached us and asked “would you like us to bring you baked beans? Now that’s what I call personalised service. WoW

During check-in they forgot to offer us welcome drinks. They resolved this immediately and continued to call the room to ask us if there was anything they could do further. Outstanding. The beach could do with some some lounges.

Amazing trip with memories

We had two families flying from two different countries and the resort organized the airport pick up and drop off for both our families. Super close to the airport and this came in really helpful especially flying with young kids with long flight. Couldn’t wait to just checking asap and get some rest. The villa was amazing. Four large spacious bedrooms, private pool and hot tub, dining room, living room. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in the villa. Kids loved jumping into the private pool and splash around in the main pool. The kids club was good. The private butler service was the cherry on the top. Indra and Miko took care of us during our stay. We liked the location too. You can walk along the beach to Lippo Mall (10-15min) and Discovery Mall (20-25min). Close to Water Bomb, Airport, and plenty of restaurants and massage shops near by.
