Peaceful relaxing stay, well cared for resort

We have stayed at this resort on three previous occasions, it is only 10 minutes from the airport by taxi, close to the beach and the variety of accommodation styles fits with both our needs and budget, we prefer the cottage style bungalows.excellent pool, nice open air dining area, buffet breakfast offers wide selection of dishes, western and other. Travellers from many different countries provide great opportunity to meet and share travel experiences. Staff are both polite and try very hard to allow you a peaceful, comfortable stay.. as in the past this is our go to resort when in Kuta area.

Beach area near hotel is still being reclaimed so there are many areas not suitable for beach access, not enough trash being picked up along beach walks, although the ocean seemed more clear at this time.

Really great value for money. We would come back.

Great location. Close to the airport and not noisy at all. We stayed 8 nights and would come back. Great facilities, pool was not crowded and very relaxing vibe. There is a restaurant and spa in the hotel facility. Food is good and massages are great. However you can find cheaper massages on the hotel street. Room service was great. Staff were really friendly and made our stay with our 1,5 year old bay very pleasing. We stayed at the delux grand room.

Cleaning inside the bedroom could be better. Bedroom Floor was not very clean. Everything else was excellent.

Wonderful stay and friendly staff

We had a great stay at Rama! we were only staying one night as we were leaving the country next day but this stay was so memorable for us. The staff were all so accomodating and friendly, from when we checked in, to all the lovely staff in the restaurant and bar as well. They remembered us by our names and even reminded us to join them for afternoon tea! which was a really nice touch we thought. The facilities were all lovely and it is one great location.

The room was a bit dated, and we found the bed a bit uncomfortable as well.

Excellent rooms - modern, clean and lots of room. Loved the pool - 2.4metres is amazing!!! The pool staff were accommodating and chatty. The gym was pretty good - (needed to bring your own towel as there were none available but that's ok) Breakfast had some good choices - sometimes it seemed a little chaotic and often hard to find bowls and cutlery. The Spa had a nice atmosphere and good masseuse. Location was really good - central enough but out of the chaos, close to the airport(but you would not have known it!)

Flies at the restaurant seemed never ending - not the hotel's fault but during breakfast and eating you were constantly batting them away. Wifi was often intermittent and jumped between 2 sites - you had to keep logging in.

Lovely end to a holiday and quick to get to airport

The staff was lovely , the room had great ac , easy to hire bike , great buffet breakfast , villa pool was more plunge style and temperature was fresh and easy to get into and out . Grounds and pool very well kept .

Nothing about the hotel to dislike . However the beach which was only 4 minute walk was disappointing and not a lot of beach places to eat .

Overall, the food at the restaurant was mediocre to poor. The breakfast was OK, but it could be improved with more fresh fruits and replace some of the Indian dishes with local dishes. There is a very good restaurant (Envy)within walking distance, which we ate at many times. It’s in the Holiday Inn.

Great location and hotel, would stay here again

The breakfast was great with a lot of variety for all nationalities. The pool was a good temperature, clean and provided noodles to float around. I asked for upgrade to a pool room, and this was available and processed straight away. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.

We had a group of seven people staying for a 60th birthday and there was real offer for the person whose birthday it was as a thank you for choosing our hotel. The offer of a spa treatment or something would of been nice.

Private villa and pool to die for!

Only minutes from everything we needed on this relaxing Bali holiday. My husband treated me to a romantic dinner in the hotel which was just beautiful. Had the best steak we have ever had in Bali and enjoyed relaxing in our own private villa with a pool.

Found the Alcohol in the pool bar quite expensive.

Always feels like coming home when we stay at Rama

Beautiful oasis away from hustle and bustle . We have stayed a few times at Rama , this time we were very lucky and got upgraded to a garden villa. We love the regular rooms but this one was extra beautiful. Huge four poster , lovely large bathroom with bath and a wonderful outdoor seating area . Hotel is a short stroll from the Pantai Jermon , nice spot to sit with a drink and watch the sunset . Great choices at breakfast . Dinner in the restaurant is a treat .

Great value, close to the airport but doesn't feel like it, and a friendly, good-vibe place.

We booked this just so we could be close to the airport for a morning flight, but it was a really pleasant surprise. Great pool, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, breakfast included, and a short stroll to watch the sunset over the beach. It's a little away from the main Kuta strip, thank goodness, but there are plenty of restaurants and wurungs around.

The breakfast buffet was a bit hit and miss - some food got cold, some ran out. But it was OK, given that it was all included in a very low price.

A Lovely Hotel with very Friendly Staff

Our 2nd visit to the fantastic Rama Beach Resort Hotel and the reception staff were so friendly & welcoming. We had arranged the pick up from Denpassar Airport with the hotel & unlike the drivers booked via Booking.com, he had a sign with my name on it and was waiting for us as we left the airport. We had a room upgrade this time and it was certainly worth the additional cost, the room was a generous size, had a large bathroom with separate bathtub & shower cubicle. There was a small courtyard garden with a high wall that provided privacy. The towels were soft, the bed comfortable, the AC quiet & effective, the room lighting was flexible. The restaurant produced an excellent lunch, dinner & breakfast with very friendly service (and a wonderful singer/guitar player for dinner time). But above all, the staff were a joy as they were at our last time.

Stayed here at the end of 3 week holiday. It's very close to airport and transfer is included. Close to beach and Discovery shopping mall. Deluxe rooms are modern and comfortable. Front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful.

In a good spot

We have going to the Rama for over 8 years now. And don’t think we will be going back Food and drink cost at the resort are out of control, 65000B for a Bintang crystal +21% Service charge, no way you out pricing yourself. Shortly before this trip we stayed at a nice resort in Kuta ,not as big as Rama but nice pool and restaurant great food at great price And Bintang @330B and no tax

Great service. Our room was amazing. Big deep bath was awesome. Bed was great too. Swim up bar a hit! You are a very short walk from the beach. You are away from the hustle and bustle with everything at your door. Easy walk on beach into Kuta central.

The pool was so lovely, one of the reasons we stayed in a private Villa was to experience having our own private pool. but unfortunately it had a lot of algae on the tiles. We paid extra for this, yet mostly swam in the outside pool for safety and hygiene.

A hotel with a very calm and relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is located just 2 minutes from the beach, with many restaurants nearby. The pool is nice and the atmosphere is calm. The gym is good, and breakfast offers a lot of variety. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds.

There was a lack of communication between the staff. I booked an airport pick-up, but they didn’t show up. The Wi-Fi is poor and doesn’t work in the public areas. Reception doesn’t provide clear information about the hotel or its activities. The hotel is okay for a short stay — we stayed for 3 nights.
