リノベーションから日が浅いようで、部屋はとてもきれいで明るく現代的なものでした。深夜便までのデイユースにはもったいない感じの良いお部屋でした。フロントにスタッフが常駐しており、なんの不便もありません。周囲にいくらでも飲食店はありますし、寂れたJerman Beachで妥協すれば目と鼻の先。散歩好きならディスカバリモール付近の日没を見て、食事して帰ってくるのも簡単なロケーションです。格安の室料で、空港に最悪徒歩で行けなくもない至近距離ですから、最終日のデイユースにも好適です。
最大のネックは所在地でしょう。Grabの地図でデフォルトになっている同ホテルの乗降場所は、実際の所在地から徒歩で数分離れたところで、ドライバーもそれが良く分からずに高度の親切心からホテル前まで車で乗り込んでくれましたが、彼の帰路の呻吟が避けがたい隘路の奥の奥。事情が分かっていたチェックアウト時は、早々に準備して表通りまで徒歩で出向きましたが、大雨だったらこりゃ大変だろうなということになります。
上述の通り、改修済みの衛生的な設備ではありますが、躯体構造は古いので水回りがやや弱点。排水口にはどっさり消臭剤が置かれ、最善の努力が尽くされています。しかし換気扇も扉も完備してますから大した問題ではありません。お湯は各客室ごとに小型の電気温水器から供給されるので、二人以上で連続して使うのは難しいかも。事前にじゃんけんでもして計画的に使わないと喧嘩になりそうです笑。部屋の窓は隣地のパームビーチホテルの客室廊下と面合わせですが、ちゃんとしたカーテンはあるので大丈夫でしょう。
