A super boutique little hotel

All the staff were most obliging. Everything was of an equal excellent standard. Room was available as soon as we arrived and Lee made us very welcome.

This place is more like a beautiful guest house rather then a hotel It comes up on google under "5 star hotel" which is totaly misleading Breakfast is basic and wouldn't say it's wow like some other reviews Little extra such as avocado, smoke salmon, or some vegetables can help

Tranquility, luxury and comfort.

Beautiful location in leafy green Constantia, with easy access to the M3 and in proximity to the Constantia wine estates. We booked the apartment, which was very spacious and clean. It was a bit chilly for swimming, but the pool looked inviting. Tennis rackets and balls were made available for use on the tennis court. The hotel itself was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Staff Koko, Mary and Gladys were very friendly and accommodating. Gladys cooked us a delicious English Breakfast every day to our exact requests. Manager Lee kindly offered us a late check out, free of charge, as we had a late flight back to Europe.

My only real complaint was that there were several changes in floor level - no fewer than four between the bedroom and bathroom, which made late night toilet breaks a bit challenging. Possibly unsuitable for elderly guests. Bathroom décor perhaps a bit dated, but fully functional. Finally, while it was not an issue for us, be aware that there is very little privacy in the bedrooms, as the sliding screen doors separating the bedrooms from the lounge are more ornamental than functional and have large holes that you can see through. Also, in bedroom 2 there is a large gap above the gas fireplace (which no longer appears to be functional) so it is completely exposed to the lounge. I don't think the apartment would be suitable for unrelated guests or couples.

Definitely worth repeating!

It was a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all conveniences—even a coffee bean machine. The grounds were well maintained, with neatly trimmed grass and everything freshly painted. The staff served with a genuine smile, and the breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices, including a freshly cooked egg made to order. On the day of checkout, we were allowed to stay in the room without any issues until it was time to head to the airport

Very happy, returning guests

All staff are very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfasts are superb and we return here every time we're in Cape Town as it feels like our home from home. We love it here!

Quiet relaxing stay.

Quiet relaxing stay in this boutique residence. Situated in quiet area but close enough to travel to local wineries. Car essential but Ubers readily available if needed. Nice pool area and well stocked honesty bar available. Excellent breakfast with good continental selection and freshly cooked options made to order by chef.

Loungers by the pool not the most comfortable. Problem with no TV signal during our 2 day stay which was unable to be fixed.

The hotel is great. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was spectacular. Fresh Croissants out of the oven were a treat.

Detail but important for a work related travel, the working space in room 7 does not allow an easy setup for charging your laptop while working at the desk if you have a Euro plug, should be easy to update as there is a south African plug readily available, or provide an adaptor.

Little treasure in Constantia. Great location, secure, with pool, outstanding breakfast and lovely staff. We felt at home within 5 seconds. Lee welcomed us in the best possible way: early check-in, offering coffee, carrying luggage, crisp and clear explanation to the property, etc. Very good! Breakfast was outstanding, made with love and accompanied with a nice open fire.

Shower was unfortunately not very clean. Rest of the villa was perfect. Our coffee machine didn’t work, no biggie, but having reported it and having heard it was fixed again created expectations of it working. It gave cold coffee…
