I really liked the very friendly staff, the lodge itself and the room that was very comfortable. I also really like Constantia the Lodge words walking distance from Constantia Village

I really liked everything. Maybe the breakfast could have been a bit more varied with different types of bread, cheeses etc. and also start earlier (it start at 7:30 on weekdays and 8 on weekends (I am an early riser) but it was still very good with fresh fruits, omelets, yogurt, cereals etc.

I had a very pleasant staying at the White Lodge Guesthouse. Bongiwe made me feel at home the moment I checked in. The staff was very patient with all my requests - which were many, poor them!, and super helpful to accommodate them. The place is very quiet because it's in a quiet street. I walked to the nearby mall (7m walk) at dawn and sunset and felt safe. A recommendation: I chose the cheapest room, while my friend chose a slightly more expensive one that was much better, so if you can afford it, I'd recommend staying in something in the mid-range price.

False advertising... Be careful The images linked to the actual room you choosing are not likely of the actual room! Listing for the room said balcony and terrace and outstanding feature being a hot tub. Outside the room is a shared courtyard. The images of room with a couch with a view are of another room! The pictures show double vanity whereas this room has one basin. A bath is not a hot tub! The outside lights are crazy brought and the room is not dark at night. The staff were friendly enough and tried to assist by switching some off the next night... But the manager/owner was very condescending lamenting on about all her international fancy guests who never complained instead of simply acknowledging our issue and that her staff had tried to assist. Walls are paper thin... You can hear other guests talking, the kitchen/laundry,etc. no decaf coffee either. It's a pleasant enough place but skills not be 4 star and is over priced.
