I will not to this motel again

The view

The place is very annoying because of the sounds of the cows and the bells hanging in the cow, especially at bedtime. Since I was upset all night and can't sleep because of the sounds of cowbells at the hotel

Excellent facilities and spotless cleanliness marred for us by noisy traffic noises and the smell of smoke from the flat

The space; the decor; the appliances; the storage; the parking.

The position of our apartment, which was right next to a crossroads. Although traffic was not heavy, much of it consisted of noisy farm vehicles, and all vehicle movements inevitably involved acceleration which was sometimes very loud. Another disappointment was that, being on the upper floor, we were regaled with the smell of the smokers on the balcony below. A small point: no lock on the bathroom door.

great stay!

well equipped studio apartment, with cooktop, small refrigerator, oven (I think it had an oven? ).it had nice cabinets for plenty of storage space. We had a view of the mountains and farmland with cows which was nice. The owner (?) was very friendly , helpful , very accommodating and spoke good English . recommend!!

Amazing view onto the green fields, mountains and cows. You're thrown into another world. Quiet and clean.

Somehow i smelled cigarette smoke in the room. I checked with the staff and they confirmed i had a smoker next door, so it could have come in from the balcony. I had a twin bed, could have been more comfortable.

ACCOMMODATION WAS EXCELLENT BUT OUTSIDE LOTS OF INSECTS.

COWS ARE BREED NEAR THE MOTEL. LOTS OF INSECTS FLY IN WINDOWS, FLY, MOSQUITOES, BEETLES. THEREFORE, IT CANNOT OPEN THE WINDOW AND VENTILATE. AFTER THE RAIN ALL DAY ODOR OUT OF EXCREMENT COW. OTHERWISE, THE SURROUNDINGS OF THE MOTEL IS NICE IN VIEW.

Great value for the money. The self check in and check out was very easy and convenient especially if you arrive late. The room was clean and comfortable and had good kitchen amenities.

Quiet place to visit the area.

Everything was excellent, from the accommodating persons at the online support to the cleaning personnel. They did their job with our comfort in mind. Apart from the people, I also liked the quietness and the price/performance. It is a extremely great place to stay for long stays.

I could not say that anything was bad. We liked everything. It is very rural and sometimes the chicken or the cows might wake you up, so keep that in mind. But for me was refreshing. Maybe if you expect a plethora of restaurants and activities you will be disappointed.

Superb

Motel has everything you need! Small kitchen equipped with an oven, fridge and dishwater. Our room only had two pots so simple dishes only to be prepared. Parking garage was very conveniently located underneath the motel. Email communication with staff was very pleasant.

Great medium to long term apartments

The location is great, very peaceful and quiet. You have a couple of good restaurants in the area and a store downstairs. I especially liked the people working here, they are polite and very helpful.

Everything was great, clean, very nice overall. The only thing i didnt like was the entrance hall light from the room, it is motion based and cand turn on during the night 😊

Schönes und praktisches Apartment

Wirklich gut ausgestattetes Apartment und in unserem Fall mit schönem Ausblick über die Weide. Wir haben gerne auf dem Balkon gesessen. Zum Wandern im Alpstein für uns super, da wir mit dem Auto da waren. Die Tiefgarage ist top.

Es war recht warm im Zimmer, ohne gute Möglichkeit zum Kühlen. Der Platz war etwas beengt zwischen Bett und Balkon.

Das WohnMOTEL ist gut zu empfehlen, um das Appenzellerland zu erkunden

Sehr großzügige Platzverhältnisse mit liebevoller Einrichtung, sehr gepflegt. Küchenmässig alles vorhanden was für kochen und Backen an Gerätschaft benötigt wird. Ebenso wie eine Kaffeemaschine für Kapseleinsatz. Der Lebensmitteleinkauf -Backwaren, Fleisch- und Wurstwaren in Altstätten (Aldi vorhanden) ist mit kfz einfach zu realisieren. Die ländliche Lage des Motels bietet viele schöne Ausflugsziele.

Aus unserer Sicht gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und sehr freundlich, einfach toll.
