The location was great, just a short walk to Cais da Ribeira. Nice views over the river. Comfortable apartment.
No elevator and steep stairs made carrying luggage difficult. Parking nearby wasn't easy. There was a damp odour in the back room.

The best thing about this place was the location and view...perfect for our group of 6. Not in the middle of all the traffic and noise, yet it is an easy 5 minute walk to the bridge and restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious, well designed. Everything in the kitchen worked and was good for cooking. Nice large counter and dining table for meals, laptops, anything. The new Bridge restaurant on the first level was great and i believe it has a bright future. i really appreciated the Whatsapp communication with the host, especially with video instructions on the lock box. Although a single key can be inconvenient to use, we figured that we would leave the key in the lock box during our entire trip so any of our group could get in and out without a problem. And whenever there was someone still in the unit, it was easy enough to knock on the door. I might suggest that instructions to that effect be included with the information provided on the booking.com website. This apartment definitely allowed us to have a great experience in Porto. Overall, if you are not on a tight budget, I do recommend this place. However, if you are on a tight budget or if anyone in a group has a significant physical disability, or you expect to have large luggage, i would stay elsewhere.
I would have liked to have met the host at least once, but i understand that meeting the host is not always needed. The stairs to the flat were getting to be a bit tiresome, but that is expected in Porto. You pretty much trade off the climbing of stairs and hills for the spectacular view and location. Not an ideal location for anyone with physical disabilities. We had to figure out a safe spot to pick up and drop off with Bolt or Uber....the road is busy and not a good spot for pickup/drop off.....recommendation is to meet the car at the bottom of the ramp down from the apartment. The latch on one of the bathroom doors does not lock, which was brought to the attention of the owner for repair. Face towels would really have been nice....we had to purchase some in town.

The property is well located, has lots of room and all the necessary facilities.
The property was not very clean unfortunately. One bathroom was particularly smelly, the floors were not clean and the shower was difficult to work as one of the controls was broken.
The duvets had NO covers which was not very hygienic at all, the bedclothes did not seem freshly laundered, I could not help feeling the beds were slept in and not changed.
They claim to have parking but I have my suspicions. The location is EXTREMELY busy so on street parking is not really an option and traffic is so busy you could end up driving for a long time and several kilometres to get back to the accommodation. It’s not a place to stay if you have a car and several bags.
We met no host and I suspect they get their fair share of revellers so they should try harder to ensure it caters for more respectful visitors who expect minimum levels of cleanliness and presentation.
Depending on the visitor type I may or may not recommend this place to friends on the future.
