Oporto Comfort Dom Hugo - Historic Apartments

The location and customer service was unmatched! I loved being so close to the cathedral and walking over to the square and just listening to whomever was playing music in the Square. I also loved being able to walk a block to the Dom Luis bridge and watch all the people or walk 5 min and be on the other side of the river. It really is an outstanding location. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you could possibly need to prepare a meal. Daniela, who is at the front desk, went out of her way to help me with bag transfer for my Camino. She contacted resources within Porto and then she went above and beyond and printed the tag for me to put on my suitcase. She was wonderful! And lastly, you literally are at the back wall of the cathedral. Even though it’s an interior facing room, you’re looking at the wall of the cathedral. That’s how close it is! And despite all of this, it is so quiet that you can hear a pin drop!

As much as I loved the small little apartment, I have to say that the bed is rock hard.

The location is excellent. The air conditioning is A+ and the staff were fantastic. Despite being in a crowded area it was very quiet.

Absolutely lovely room in perfect location. Very cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. Really helpful and lovely staff.
