One has to be very careful on the stairs

Fantastic location overlooking the Ponte Luiz 1 and the Douro river. Great wine bar just behind & if you are starting the Camino way, the passport office is next door.

We have been looking at the Manor House online for a couple of years before we were able to visit. The photos are accurate, it is a beautiful space it had everything we needed in the kitchen if you chose to make a meal. The location is incredible to put it lightly. We felt like we had the best kept secret in Porto with a garden overlooking the bridge right in the centre of it all, but still away from the crowds on a private street behind the cathedral. Great value for the money it costs to rent. Couldn't have been happier with the space and view.

The location, fantastic view and within walking distance to both Gaia and the historical part of Porto.

Dark and damp apartment, the brightness in the pictures gave us the wrong impression. We were not able to have the doors to the terrace open as four cats resided on the small grass area. Also ment that the terrace couldn't be used to dry towels in the sun or have a snack comfortably. A dehumidifier AND two fans needed to stay on during the night and the noice were almost unbearable.
