The location was perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the main sights. The surrounding area was safe and pleasant. The balcony offered a nice view, although it was quite narrow, so it wasn’t really possible to sit there comfortably and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The complimentary wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The room wasn’t very spacious, but it was perfectly fine for two people.
The main concern was cleanliness. First, the toilet wasn’t clean at all. I had the impression that it had been used just minutes before our arrival, as there were fresh spots on it. The glasses and utensils were also dirty and covered with spots, as if they had simply been put back on the shelves without being properly washed.
