Friendly hotel in a pretty town

Lovely hotel in good position. Breakfast was very good with good variety. Room was spacious with a sofa and complementary bottle of sparkling water. Shower had good pressure. Secure parking just up the road.

Nothing. Although the room overlooked a roundabout it was very quiet at night.

Check-in and check-out were wonderful. Owner very accommodating to my schedule. Breakfast was great. Nice buffet, eggs to order, great waitstaff. Dinner on the patio at the restaurant was hard to beat. Great food and great waitstaff. Location was perfect. Close to the Leukbach, but not next to the church bells. Parking was easy. Just 50 meters up the street.

Well, it rained one morning, but I can't blame the hotel for that.

Family run hotel. Terrific location, right in the middle of town. Tourist office, bank, and numerous restaurants within 100 meters. Good variety of programming on the TV. They let me leave my bags there until check in. Great breakfast buffet, with lots of variety. Very helpful staff. They even volunteered to transport me and my luggage to the train station, 1.2 km away without charge.

TV was mounted 90 degrees to the bed so viewing angle was not the best. Restaurant prices were too expensive for my budget, so I didn't dine there. You could tell from the menu choices that this was a high end, quality establishment.

The owners were warm, hospitable and helpful. The hotel was very clean . The breakfast was very good. The restaurant (dinner) exceeded my expectations, I should mention an excellent wine recommendation from the Owner. Central location. Outdoor parking is 50 m away from the main entrance. Highly recommend both the Hotel and the Restaurant. Short train ride to Trier. Comfortable beds. 100% satisfied.

Superb experience, exceeding expectations

The owners were charming warm and hospitable, helpful and the hotel beautiful and clean with lovely touches. The breakfast was superb with so much choice and quality items. It was a very comfortable stay. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would highly recommend it

Nice hotel with good price point in the Center of Saarburg. Staff was exceptional kind and accommodating. Helped us procure a nearby parking space which was very convenient. The restaurant was well above average and clearly well known in the area. Enjoyed a memorable meal with excellent wine recommendation from the Owner who was quite involved with the exquisite running of his dining establishment. Highly recommend both the Hotel and the Restaurant. Short train ride to the Trier Christmas Market which was our primary reason for being in the area. Would return for a couple of nights exclusively for the cuisine

Wonderful hotel with real hospitality from the owners. All things where dealt immidiately and the espresso in morning was excellent Unfortunately did their restaurant had ruhtag for the days we stayed. Pity because it was one of the things we look forward to. However thats life.

Am travelling with my "home" office, Internet is crucial. Unfortunately was their network coverage and infrastructure not the latest. Difficult to connect and with with a few devices at the same time.

Entsetzlich, mehr klann man dazu nicht sagen!!!

...leider gar nichts, vom Essen bis zum Zimmer und den Preisen, alles niemals entsprechend.....leider!

Das zimmer war eiskalt, wir mussten mit dem Gewand schlafen, da es 15 grad im Zimmer hatte. Das Abendessen war eine schlichte Katastrophe, ich habe noch nie ein so schlechtes Schnitzel zu einem Preis von einem Haubenlokal gegessen. Es ist fast mutig oder unverschämt für ein solches Zimmer € 185,-- zu verlangen.!!!! das Bett hat geknarrt, das Badezimmer war eine Gefrierkammer.... Alles in allem eine wirkliche Unverschämtheit!!!

Sehr viel Charme

Das Restaurant im Saarburger Hof ist Spitze und die Weinkarte außergewöhnlich. Hier wurde aus mehreren Häusern, einschließlich einer Stadtmauer, ein Hotel erstellt. Mit allen Winkeln und Treppen, die das Ganze mit sich bringt. Sehr gemütlich.

Für ein paar Tage (z.B. als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen) sind Saarburg und das Hotel hervorragend!

Sehr freundlich, familiär, gepflegt, gemütlich. Sehr hilfsbereiter Chef!!! Unkompliziert. Für die eher pensions-artige Atmosphäre (kein Kühlschrank/Minibar im Zimmer, Um 22 Uhr Gastronomie/Restaurant geschlossen) vielleicht nicht unbedingt die günstigste Lösung, aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Richtig liebe Gastgeber! Warmherzig wurden wir aufgenommen. Richtig gemütlich war's. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mehr als ausreichend. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr schön. Läd zum verweilen ein. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar.

Aufgrund der sehr guten Rezessionen haben wir dieses Hotel gebucht und waren leider enttäuscht, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gegeben war. Leider entsprach dieses Hotel nicht meiner Erwartung. Das in andere Rezessionen so hochgelobte Frühstück, was bedauerlicherweise nur Standard. Das Zimmer war sehr lieblos eingerichtet und äußerst hellhörig.

Für Zwischenhalt gut.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Kreisel, wo natürlich Strassengeräusche normal sind. Das Restaurant am Abend war sehr gut, das Frühstück wäre sicherlich auch gut gewesen, leider wussten wir nicht dass es incl. ist und Booking schrieb - keine Mahlzeiten dabei. Immerhin hat der Chef uns einen Preisnachlass gegeben da wir nicht frühstückten. Also unbedingt notieren - Frühstück ist dort dabei!

Das Zimmer war kalt, draussen war es kalt, wir konnten nicht richtig wärmen, hiess 2 Decken, heiss duschen und nicht lange im Zimmer sein.

Hartelijk ontvangst en begeleiding naar de kamer. Goede kamer. Goed restaurant met eigen terras. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Reserveren voor het restaurant is noodzakelijk. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Betaalde parkeergelegenheid tegenover het hotel. (09:00 - 18:00 uur - lage kosten) Betalen kan met je betaalpas.

De doorlooptijd in het restaurant kan sneller, maar dat komt door de drukte. Er werd wel efficient gewerkt.

Dank des guten Hotels und Wetters ein rundum schönes Wochenende im attraktiven Saarburg

Wir hatten ein Familientreffen mit sechs Personen, von denen zwei dank der Unzuverlässigkeit und Unfähigkeit der Deutschen Bahn leider einen Tag später sich uns anschließen konnten. Nicht nur in diesem Zusammenhang sind die Freundlichkeit, Zugewandtheit und Rücksichtnahme der Wirtsleute und ihres Personals hervorzuheben, weil sie nicht unerheblich über der Stufe liegen, die man üblicherweise in Hotels mit freundlicher Bedienung erfährt. Das Frühstück war qualitativ sehr gut und reichhaltig und die im gutbürgerlichen Bereich liegende Küche zeichnete sich durch schmackhafte Qualität aus. Vielleicht könnte das Angebot vegetarischer Speisen etwas größer sein. Wir haben uns alle im Saarburger Hof sehr wohl gefühlt und haben den Aufenthalt dort genossen.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber und Personal, Lage perfekt, alles gepflegt und sauber, zum Frühstück hat nichts gefehlt. Parkgarage in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Die Bedienungsanleitung für den Zimmersafe und das Telefon war nicht vorhanden. Wurde aber durch den Gastgeber sofort gelöst.
