Localisation intéressante entre Trèves et le Luxembourg. Bonne offre de restauration, à la fois pour le dîner et le petit déjeuner. Le personnel a été très arrangeant pour nous permettre de dîner au restaurant malgré notre arrivée tardive (ce qui était une bonne chose car il y avait peu d'alternatives dans le voisinage immédiat)

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel, ze proberen alles om aan je wensen te voldoen. Het ontbijt was ontzettend lekker, producten uit de regio, alles super vers, zag er goed uit (jam, honig etc. zelfgemaakt), Ook het avondeten en de wijn waren erg lekker.

Onze kamer was tegenover het restaurant in een wat ouder pand, interieur was dus wat gedateerd, maar het was wel schoon. We hadden soms wel en soms geen WiFi (signaal was zwak).

Familiengeführtes Wohlfühlhotel. Kann ich sehr empfehlen. Großes Zimmer mit großem Bad und noch größerem Balkon. In der Nacht ist absolute Stille und morgens begrüßen die Vögel den neuen Tag. Ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit gutem Kaffee von einer sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiterin bestückt, gewährt einen guten Start in den Tag. Das Hotel ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Reisen nach Trier oder Luxemburg.

The room was large, warm and comfortable, with a good shower, and bottled water was available.

It was a Monday, there was nowhere to eat in the village or nearby. At check-in, we were handed a list of places that we could go with distances varying from about 8 to 20 km drive away. I phoned the three that were closer, only one was open and was about 10km drive via a secondary road. The alternative was to drive to Trier and I actually regretted not staying in Trier, as the price of accommodation was basically the same. I had chosen this one, based on the reviews and our previous experiences of small riverside villages in Germany. Staff were efficient, but not welcoming nor flexible. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast during check-in and quick decisions had to be made, even in terms of the quantity of bread and butter required, and no orange juice was offered. Local produce was available for sale at reception, but as it was only open for our check-in and then was immediately closed, so we could not buy anything. There was a fridge in the room, but it was empty, despite the corkscrew and bottle opener provided. In all, our experience did not match with the reviews or the main photo provided (the room was in house opposite and parking was not available).
