Comfortable stay close to Mullerthal

We were in smiling faces family room - very comfortable beds! Plenty of space. Good kitchen with available coffee machine with grains, it made my mornings! Visit on foot 2km the cider producer Ramborn.

Overnight stop in Luxembourg

We had an overnight stop here - we had a small room but there is a large sitting and dining area ideal for bringing back food to reheat. Breakfast is available for an extra cost. The area is very quiet and by the German border. We went across the bridge Into Germany, to a village with an excellent restaurant recommended by the host. Useful centre for touring the surrounding countryside.

Great place if you like to share

We liked to have access to a well equipped kitchen. The room was good and comfortable. There was space to park the bicycles. Everything was easy going.

When we arrived we had difficulties to get in contact with the owners. The wifi was only accessible in the kitchen, there was no signal in the sleeping room. The drainage of the sink in the bathroom was partly blocked.

Nice, tidy and well equipped accomodation. Comfy beds, kitchen and bathroom were common but very convienient. Everything what necessary from toiletries to body cream. Love it. Parking onsite. Good wifi connectivity

Nice stay to start your walking in Echternach area

Perfect area for walking and cycling. About 8 km from Echternach. Bus (free) next to hotel (50 mt). Very good breakfast, clean rooms and bathroom, use of kitchen with TV and especially the great hospitality from the hosts Brigitte and Jens. Also good place to start Mullerthaltrail.

You have to share bathroom with other travellers, but this never was a real issue.

When we arrived with our dog, we got the bigger room. That was a great start of our stay. The hosts are nice and helpful, and most importantly: the bed was extremely comfortable!

Nice comfortable place in a green setting.

It is a collection of rooms on the first and second floor for renting out with a shared toilet, bathroom and kitchen. You will meet other people, can exchange ideas etc. In nearby town Wasserbillig you will find many shops. You can cook yourself: all utensils on site.

Beautiful accommodation, wish we stayed longer.

Absolutely loved staying here, only wish we stayed more than one night! The room and accommodation itself is lovely and has a wonderful vibe to the place. The communal kitchen area is lovely. We were particularly impressed by the bathrooms - good shower, nicely fitted, with some cosmetics for communal use which is really helpful when you're travelling and can't pack/carry everything you would normally have. We were doing the Mullerthal trail so it was a lovely place to stop off for a night. The host was SO helpful as we were later arriving than we thought we would be, and her kindness was very much appreciated.

Idyllic, peaceful stay close to the Mullerthal region!

It is hard to come by such a friendly, helpful host as Brigitte. She made sure to call and check in before my arrival and gave me a full lowdown on all practical info to get around in the area. To top it, the stay is at a unique location where you are alone with nature in a beautifully designed villa. I loved falling asleep looking at the stars through the sunroof and river sounds after long hiking days! The big beautiful historic town Echternach (where you can start the Mullerthal trail) is just 15 minutes by public transport, and Burer Millen is located at an optimal distance to avoid the busy-ness of bigger towns. This will be my go-to stay if I'm back again in East Luxembourg :)

WiFi in my room was a bit weak. But I could still use it in the common areas when it was crucial!

All in all I thought it was really nice and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Really lovely space, Brigitte was very helpful and accommodating, and room was simple and clean. Location was also nice, not too far from the attractions (e.g. Berdorf) and peaceful area. What you get for the price is also very good compared to other lodgings i looked at in the area.

Main issue was that the toilet/pipes had a bad smell (sewage problems i think), although thankfully wasnt too pervasive. Small recommendation I would give too is to have coat hangers in the rooms :)

We had a very nice stay here. Jens, the host, made us feel at home from the first contact with him. The building we stayed in is very spacious and offers everything that is needed (A spacious and very clean bathroom, a breakfast and relax area). There are drinks available in the fridge at low prices. Our room was nice and perfectly isolated. We can't wait to go back.

It is a perfect place for people seeking peace and quiet in the middle of stunning landscape.

The place is very well located in a quiet and picturesque part of the Luxembourgian Ardennes. It has all the amenities one could ask for. The room had airconditioning, which is an exception in this area, though still quite useful in the summer nowadays, given the global warming. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was generous enough to allow us to prepare a sandwich lunch for the road.

Ontvangst was wat stroefjes. Van te voren was niet bekend, of slecht vindbaar, dat je het appartement deelt met anderen (er zijn 5 slaapkamers). Nooduitgang was niet bruikbaar (verkeerde sleutel in sleutelkastje). We kwamen hier te laat achter anders hadden we dit zeker gemeld

Fijne plek vooral voor kort verblijf, in een mooie wandelomgeving

Fijne kamer, goed bed. En prettig om eigen badkamer te hebben.

Bij aankomst was het onduidelijk waar je moest zijn. We belden bij kinderopvang aan en zij vertelden ons waar we de eigenaars konden vinden voor de sleutel. Dat zou beter vermeld kunnen worden.

Home sweet home

Hele leuke authentieke woning met een prachtige badkamer. Met daar van alles wat je kan gebruiken. Zeer huiselijk en gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alsof je een huis voor jezelf hebt. Slaapkamer goed donker te maken, en heerlijke bedden. Genoeg opbergruimte waardoor verblijf voor meerdere dagen perfect is. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. Dankjewel Jens en Brigitte ! Leuk terras. Zeer degelijke prijs. Voor de wandelaars een perfecte uitvalsbasis met genoeg informatie ook daar te vinden

hikers delight

Nous avons séjourné ici pendant notre randonnée sur le Mullerthal Trail et avons été accueillis très chaleureusement. Quand il s’est avéré que nous n’avions pas réservé de petit-déjeuner, Brigitte a fait tout son possible pour nous en proposer quelque chose, même pour ma fille qui est intolérante au gluten. Un vrai geste de cœur ! L’endroit est parfait pour les randonneurs : ne soyez pas inquiets à l’idée de partager la salle de bain ou la cuisine, tout est propre et bien organisé. Un hébergement à recommander sans hésitation !

Prima kamer! We hadden een ruime kamer waar we met ons gezin van 5 goed konden slapen. De badkamer en keuken deel je met andere gasten, maar dit was voor ons geen enkel probleem.

Nogal gehorig. Als andere gasten vroeg gaan wandelen word je ook vroeg wakker. We moesten wachten op toilet en badkamergebruik.

De kamer was goed. Een eigen badkamer en toilet. De hygiëne was ook in orde van de kamer.

De gezamenlijke keuken was redelijk onhygiënisch. Niet alle aangeboden etenswaren zijn nog houdbaar. Er was geen ontbijt mogelijk of avond eten. Dus beter dat dit van te voren duidelijk is want er is niet veel in de buurt. Het ligt uit de route van de mullerthall trail, route 1. Er was geen enkel personeel aanwezig. Er zit ongedierte tussen het plafond. Wij hoorden ze piepen en rennen over het plafond.
