Careful room selection, otherwise great

Loved the common area and the beach was really great. Also the breakfast and staff was nice.

The pictures do not represent all the rooms well. We ended up in a not renovated room and unlike the pictures the bathroom was really old and everything was just lived through quite a bit leading it to not being clean. Really not what we were expecting judging by the pictures and hence I did not like the value for money with regard to our room. The view from the terrace was nice though. If you book a renovated room or do not mind the older rooms you will have a great stay!

Would like to visit the hotel again!

Location, service, breakfast, lake, weather…you name it!

The family room we got at first did not match the pictures on Booking.com, but we got two rooms as a replacement in 30 mins after arrival. A major problem from customenrs point of view was solved very swiftly!

Wonderful location, right on the lake, amazing views, fantastic staff who know everything about the area: where to eat, what to see, how to get around, etc. Good breakfast, not just sweet, comfortable beds, parking available, clean, all the pluses, price commensurate with quality, and considering the views, can be considered relatively low.

We liked that it had its own waterfront. The staff were nice. The bed was comfortable and the pillow too.

It was not cleaned properly, spiderwebs almost everywhere, spiders in the bed. The air conditioner was on in the evening, which only made it cold, the radiator didn't heat up at night either, it was very cold.

Nice property with beautiful views and lounge area, close to village for dining.

Great view! Everything I needed. Breakfast was decent. Very nice that it's included in the price of the hotel room. I walked to the village about 15 minutes. There is about a 50 foot section that has no sidewalk and you walk on the narrow road so that is a bit dangerous but I survived it 4 times. The village is very small but has a few places to dine along the water. It's mainly a beach area/campground.

The room was a bit sterile. I think it was the very high ceilings and lack of color. But it was very clean and had everything I needed. Nice little balcony with great view.

The view on the lake was fantastic. Breakfast very good. The pirvate beach was very nice to have. Restaurants at walking distance.

The location isn’t great but it’s on the lake. The restaurant was closed so the best option was to walk along the busy street to get downtown where there were a few good dinner options. Good for a night but any longer would not be fun.

Really Good Place for a good weekend beside Lago Maggiore , full of Calm

The hotel located in the side of the lake with a privet beach area , a place was so calm and can build a excellent weekend full of calm for you with a unbelievable view from the clean rooms terrace , the breakfast was good and the stuff were really helpful and kind .

I don't suggest using of the Hotel restaurant , The food quality was not acceptable at all .

Breakfast was great, the place is clean. The hotel is on the lake and it's lovely to wake up to that view.

Our first room was very small, on the second floor. The balcony looked out onto the huge concrete roof of the restaurant area below which took the shine off the stunning lake and mountain view. The neighbouring balconies were so close that you could walk from one to the other if the barrier wasn't there. Something to add privacy on the balcony, or even flowers to distract from it would make a difference. The cleaning products being used in the rooms gave off a very strong, sweet bleach smell that would not go away. When we asked to move room because of the smell (we had left the balcony door open all day to try and get rid of it) we were given another room on the floor below that was not above the restaurant. We were told it was a downgrade - because the first room was on a higher floor. But our second room was either bigger or a better layout and the balcony was framed by a pretty pink wall that blocked the neighbouring balconies. We finally felt that we could relax there. The welcome upon arrival could have been better with information about the activities available like the paddle boards. The hotel generally feels a bit unloved. The sunbathing area is a good example, a gravel area with trees that block out the sun and loungers placed in random spots - it is also a stone's throw from the busy road. If you need a bed for the night and a pleasant breakfast then this place is great - but definitely hire a car or be prepared to cycle as it isn't walking distance to Baveno or Stresa.

Déçu par la chambre à ce niveau de prix c est cher payer la vue lac .

La salle de bain est inexistante et vétuste lavabo dans la chambre, douche qui fuit, robinetterie défectueuse . Les photos sur le site de l établissement sont trompeuses . L accueil de l'hôtel est très moderne , jolie irréprochable . Le petit déjeuné bas de gamme est médiocre manque de choix malgré de belles photos sur le site .

De kamer was wat minder, vooral de erg kleine badkamer. Ook de ligging langs een erg drukke weg zonder voetpad vonden wij wat minder.

Prachtige locatie. Strandbedden en het meer aan het hotel. Ontbijt was divers genoeg. Genoeg parkeerruimte voor de auto. Ca 10 minuten lopen tot een klein dorpje met leuke restaurants. Airco in de kamer werkte optimaal.

De matrassen van de bedden waren aan de harde kant. Ook was de badkamer erg klein maar wel schoon.

Das hotel carillon hat eine tolle Lage, direkt am See mit Zugang und beach Bar, unser Zimmer war für unseren Urlaub ausreichend. Das Bad etwas klein aber es genügt völlig.

Es wäre jammern auf hohem Niveau, bei Regen wäre ein deutsches Fernsehprogramm nicht schlecht. Das war aber das einzige was ich zu bemängeln hätte, denn auch bei Regen ist es wunderschön.

Personal und Unterkunft top

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Es war als ob wir schon jahrelang dort in den Urlaub kommen! Sehr vertraut. Das Frühstück im hellen Aufenthaltsraum war sehr sehr lecker- alles was das Herz begehrt- es fehlte uns an nichts! Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber reichte völlig aus. Blick auf den See-herrlich! Tolle Hotelbar, viele Liegen zur Verfügung! Der Weg Richtung Feriolo war zu Fuß super erreichbar, dort gibt es viele Restaurants, Bars, etwas Unterhaltung, Musiker... Programm wird auch vom Hotel vorgeschlagen (z.B Besuch der Inseln, Markt in Stresa...)

Beim Steg könnte eine Leiter angebracht werden, dann könnte man dort besser aus dem Wasser heraussteigen! Die Hotelbar draußen hatte nicht so lang geöffnet.

Für einen Kurztripp sehr gut

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit Seesicht, hier wurde die letzten Jahre gut investiert, die Zimmer sind sehr schön und Modern, ebenfalls der Empfangsbereich und Frühstück Raum. Der See zugang mit gratis Liegen und Schirme. Gratis Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Beachbar mit Getränke und Speisen.

Die Metallstühle am Balkon, sind zwar Retro aber nicht bequem. Die Jazz musik an der Beachbar sollte öfter gewechselt werden. 1 Aperol Spritz und Hugo für je €10 fanden wir sehr überteuert!
