We loved our stay here. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very nice in a very cozy room. The view from the hotel in beautiful..
If you don't have a car (like we did) access here can be difficult

The view was amazing. Super clean, nice breakfast. A little more quite outdoors
The walls of the rooms are not the thickest. We could here one guest snoring.

Very good price-to-quality ratio, quiet, clean, comfortable. Free parking.
Very far from city centre, with a nice view of it, though. There is a restaurant nearby, but unfortunately it was closed on Tuesday. Only option to have a meal if you do not want to move far.

Great view of the river and city. Nice people running the place. Locked garage for bicycles. Restaurant and breakfast both fine. There are walks around the hotel.
Tough getting up there on a bicycle - better to come the long way round the back than approaching from the city.

Actually had a good view. Bed was comfortable.
Generator coming on above room in kitchen at 8a.m disturbed the weekend lie in
If you get #1or#2, request a change.
Rude staff, just handed a key at reception. Rude staff when arrived at hotel, when trying to find reception with main door locked. No need. I try to speak German. Made to feel an unwanted guest. If no English spoken, I respect that, but do try to be at least welcoming.
Maybe better than klausk in Helsinki, just.
Did not think it was good value overall.

We loved our spacious room,a sitting area ,good shower room, and very comfortable beds.
The room was well furnished with little homely touches, but not too much.
Breakfast was lovely.Prettily set breakfast room.Great coffee- a pot each!
The staff were all so friendly..Super welcome, and a friendly farewell. We will definitely return.
Nothing really, but we landed on Monday and Tuesday when the gorgeous looking terrace, well known restaurant and bar were closed.
I know this is common in Germany, but we rather felt if they’d got guests they should be looked after in this high season.
Not a problem, but we had no experience of the above.Guests and locals bought beer and sat out on the carpark wall looking at the astonishing view.

Small hotel with direct contact with the owner.
Amaizing view from hills over Koblenz.
Quiet location
There was some confusion about the check-in. Check-in after 20:00 requires phone contact. As we only booked at 19:50 we noticed it to late, but it all worked out fine

The rooms were clean. Breakfast was lovely. The view of Koblenz was very nice. People came up there to hang out on the benches overlooking the city and watch the sunset. It was a short drive into Koblenz.

The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable with good pillows. The bathroom had a shower, good water pressure. Shower was a bit tight. Great views from the hotel. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular. Location more suited to people who had a car. You can get to this hotel by public transport quite easily. From the Koblenz rain station walk across to the bus station, take bus 5 towards Asrerstein / Goebensiedlung, get off at the stop Lindenalle, it is the second last stop, don't panic if it does not come up on bus display, it eventually does, also let driver know your stop, (do not get off at Bastion stop otherwise you walk up many many stairs. From here it is a 10 minute walk to the hotel on relatively flat roads. There are signs for the hotel showing direction.
Hotel located on a ridge overlooking koblenz, there is no information about how to get to hotel with public transport, nothing comes up on Google maps. The hotel reception not very helpful, you are on your own. Reception not manned 24 hours. Hotel would be hard to find after dark.

The view! We had dinner at the restaurant enjoying the food and the views. It was the last night of trip and sitting on the patio was the perfect ending.

Bathroom a bit small, room could've done with an airing.

Fantastic views of Koblenz. Free parking in hotel grounds. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Large comfortable room.
Tricky to find, and a bit further out from Koblenz than I had realized.

Location is great - beautiful views of Koblenz. Room was very nice size, with a large bed, 2 chairs and a sofa. Bathroom was great.
Parking lot closes at 10 pm, with no other parking facility nearby. And the restaurant would not serve us, because we came in after 8:30 pm. Breakfast was ok - nothing fancy.

The view was on par with anything you could see from the Fortress!
Rooms were clean, modern. Some toiletries were eco-friendly.
Didn't get to try the restaurant or breakfast, but it sounds like the food is quite nice.
No warning that the parking lot would not be accessible after a certain time. In reading other reviews now - specifically about the parking which I didn't see prior to booking - it says they were told the lot has no entry after 10p. However, when we arrived at 9:42pm on the 29th, it was already closed. Thankfully, we were able to find parking on the street nearby, but it was quite surprising. (We also wondered what would happen if you unexpectedly had to leave in the middle of the night?!) Sounds like it's not something the hotel can really control, but at minimum, we should have been told and there should be a "reminder" / note in the room information. I read through that and didn't see any mention of it there either.

Very clean rooms.
The restaurant facility was not available and there were no options within walking distance.

Very nice little place, easy to find.
Good size parking area.
Superb view of the city from the edge of the carpark.
Challenging path down the hill if you wish to walk into Koblenz as we did, even more fun walking back up.
Breakfast choice was good as was the coffee.
Good shower and a comfortable bed.
Would recommend this one for a short stay in Koblenz.
Only thing we could complain about were the local youths sitting on the wall outside yakking away till midnight and banging their tins of cheap beer about.

very good view, perfect for a calm stay. Nice staff.
Not easy without a car. Far away from center.

A nice small Hotel where we stayed as a B&B. Something of a trek from Koblenz as it is a good height above the town, the people who run it are nice and helpful, the place clean and comfortable.. The breakfast we had was good.
We stayed on a Monday night when the restaurant was closed and so had to eat out, as said before the hotel is a steep climb from the town level.

Breakfast was good with plenty of variety and top quality eggs ! The location of the hotel is also excellent with spectacular views over the Rhine with the complete city of Koblenz spread out below - all to be seen from most rooms and the restaurant/breakfast room. The drive into the Old Town only took 12mins at 8-30 in the morning.

Sightseeing from the top of the hill; the Devil's Stair climb. Great food at the restaurant when open.
Restaurant is closed both Monday and Tuesday. Restaurants in the area are also closed Tuesday, so to get dinner these days you will need a car or cab to get to city center.
7.0 / 10.0
The location was unexpected. On the map it is close to the Rhine but it is actually 400 feet up. So a good view over the city but not easy to walk in.
We were aware that the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays but not that it was closed on Mondays as well. Since we were only there on a Monday and a Tuesday, this was irritating and meant that we had to drive out for dinner each evening.

Very clean hotel with helpful & friendly staff
Messaged the hotel before I booked it to ask if the restaurant would be open, checked in later that day and was told the restaurant is closed on a Monday & Tuesday. There is nothing around the hotel so you have to go into town, its just over a mile walk, down a lot of steep steps, over the dual carridgeway, over the bridge, there is no lightning on the steps so would not recommend doing it in the dark

The Breakfast was nice and the hotel has a nice view over the town.
The staff overall was very unfriendly. The wifi stopped working after 1 hour and no one really tried to solve it, not even after complaining.

We liked the location looking over Koblenz. Easy to visit the city. The view is amazing. Restaurant on site had great traditional German food. The included breakfast was more than you could have asked for.
We had wifi issues in our room. We were there only one night so it wasn’t a big issue for us.

okay,.. this place is ADORABLE. such a sweet group of people running the hotel and they were very accommodating. we only stayed one night but we’re highly impressed. the rooms look a bit small from the outside but we were comfortable and it was really nice inside. pics on the post don’t do it justice. very clean and nice.
no lift or ac. this is not a nonnegotiable, and after looking back it doesn’t promise either of these in the listing… but it did make it a little tough for having a small toddler who needs a fan at night. regardless, I am glad we chose to come here on a whim, the town is lovely as well as the hotel.

A very nice hotel with a magnificent view, very nice and helpful staff. Nice to have a beer on the terrace and look down to the river(s) and city. Good breakfast.
No public transport connection to the city centre - you either walk or go by car. But that´s no problem at all.
