Wonderful, we are hoping to come again

Everything was wonderful. We specifically loved the spa area, which was expansive and beautiful, and had everything you could wish for. The opening hours were great too. Bonus points for the heated outdoor pool. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean and the location was so that you could easily reach the surrounding ski area without needing a car. We also loved the curated selection of the bar with lots of interesting choices and very nice bartenders.

The price for breakfast was a little high - even though we could tell it was very high quality, as someone who doesn’t eat a huge breakfast an à la carte option would have been great

Nice parking! Easy to get to. Room was basic but I likely got what I paid for so that’s on me. Would have been nice to have a kettle or coffee maker in room but oh well! The pools looked nice. We were only here for one night and it was comfortable enough.

Everything. Spa, pool, room and view. Water, snacks, and tea provided in the spa. Free pedal bike use - ride around the entire lake!

One day the spa was over an hour late to start everything. But this didn’t affect our overall stay as we did something else in the mean time - one gentleman wasn’t too pleased.

The hotel maintains excellent cleanliness standards and offers well-appointed indoor and outdoor swimming pools, complemented by dedicated relaxation zones and massage facilities.

The hotel required an unexpected €500 security deposit with no prior disclosure. Furthermore, an additional €35 charge was applied as a local tax without any advance notification or explanation.

Served breakfast only with very limited variety. Family pool not working. At Booking it was not obvious that the booked room is not in the Adult only part of the hotel.

Very friendly staff. The hotel is very clean and the price is fair.

Everything was good. The only thing that I didn't like is that there is no fridge in the room. Having a small fridge in the rooms would be very useful.

Do not recommend

The hotel and room looks nice but in reality it is not comfortable and very noisy. The train runs right below the hotel which made our whole room shake and was very loud. We just needed a comfortable place to stay for one night and barely got any sleep because of the train.

The staff at check-in and check-out were not nice. Along with the loud noise from the train that is right below the hotel you can easily hear people next door and walking in the unit above. When we arrived the pool was already closed so we didn't get to enjoy it. The breakfast costs 30 euro per person which is very expensive so we ate breakfast elsewhere.

Lovely Hotel for travellers or Spa lovers.

Modern good quality hotel. Spacious and with own car parking opposite. Rooms similarly large and well equipped.

Dinner menu is too expensive, with not a great deal of choice. Breakfast at €30 is also pricey but we thought it was worth it. The HAIDVOGL MAVIDA is at one end of the Zell am See in the newer district. You can access the rest of the lake by water taxi or hire bikes etc but it's a long walk to the other end.

if they fix some missings, I can think about to stay for the room comfort and the balcony view.

The room is large, the bed is really comfortable and large, the bathroom is large, the view of balcony is amazing.

There is no refrigerator in the room which should be.My mother is using a insulin injection, it should be stored in the refrigerator.We gave to the front desk for putting it in the refrigerator, one day they put but the other 2 days we got back in the room temperatures.There is no locking on the doors, it is disturbing.At 3 nights stay we had to use only one solid soap, no liquid soap.There are no pen and paper for noting.

A great choice

From the moment we walked in, the fresh, clean scent of the lobby set the tone. Our modern room was impeccably spotless, with floor‑to‑ceiling windows framing breathtaking mountain views and a generously sized balcony to soak it all in. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to unwind and recharge, this is the place—and I can’t wait to go back!

Maybe the gym was a bit small considering the amount of hotel's residents.

Great property - almost makes you want to not get out of the hotel at all but zell am see is beautiful and you must. We had an excellent stay here - just wish breakfast was included in the price but that’s asking for too much :) excellent place to stay!

Run away dont let them take your money

Everything is a disaster, the staff are very rude , thry dont give you the room you booked , scream a5 you at front desk , and treat you with disrespect , except one night staff named anderson , he was nice . Old building, no light even to the path to the hotel, all pictures and descrption on booking are lies , washrooms without water or cleaning , old broken furniture, linen are ventiage and smell terrible, no kitchinete, fridge behind a door if you want to.drink everyone hit you with door, no hallway or passage way to move around , found broken glass all over the floor in the room at check in, spider web , insects, a miserable experiance , they take your money upfront , because everyhing they post is a lie, the place need to be torn down , and rebuilt , very old , waste of money , you hate yourself everynight in it , and the staff make it worse , the women at the front desk in the morning screams at you , you just avoid them , no room service , smell bad , no sound proof here everyone else in other rooms , noisy train and church in neighbour hood , disaster place . No value for money , charging 5 star proce for no star run down place , .....

it is amazing hotel, all facilities almost available.

Accessing the building is controlled by owned smart card, but no security cameras in the building. The phone wasn’t working in my suite and I didn’t like sharing one bathroom only in master bedroom for all big family,also having 2 beds in dressing room in master room too.

There is no housekeeping during the 5 day’s even when they said there is every 3 days we didn’t have any housekeeping! After the check out they said we have to pay 450€ for the cleaning and they said it’s mentioned on booking!

Amazing closing of the ski season with family

The room was good and the bed was amazingly comfort, so I slept like a baby (I guess my wife and child too). The view from the window was amazing, first thing in the morning you open your eyes and see the beauty of the mountains, because the bed is oriented to the window! The breakfast was superb! Exceptional quality! But :) it's quite slow because of the a la carte concept, one day we were waiting and starving about 30 min just to make the order. Spa was good! Warm indoor pool.

Well, here are two points: 1. The restaurant was close during our stay, so we had to go somewhere else to get some food for a dinner. Bad is that no one mentioned about it. 2. The picture about indoor-outdoor pools is not true!

The spa was excellent, indoor and outdoor heated pool were amazing, very romantic. Everything is super clean and the attention to small details in everything. Free parking, great breakfast. Would surely come again!
