Good stay with perfect location

Comfortable stay with everything required in close proximity: elevator, ski room, kitchen on the second floor, restaurants around and very close to ski lift in the center of Zell Am See.

Breakfast is good, however the same every day. Mattress in our room was too soft and deformed in the middle, so you sleep being bent. Minor issues around the room due to exploitation age.

I’ve stayed in The Grand a few times when in Zell Am See but Magali’s firstly for value, location and the staff will now

Pleasant place to stay in

Close to everything and only few minutes walk to Zell am see lake

A well designed property, comfortable beds, friendly staff

Very friendly staff. For what the building was it was very well designed. You can tell the honors put a lot of work into the property. There was an issue with my key at check in but it was fixed right away. They had water and sodas for purchase that were cold and the prices were normal. I appreciated that they didn't try to overcharge for these like a lot of places would. The beds were comfortable. I did not really take advantage of the breakfast so I can't speak to that.

I don't think the property was as close to the lake front as advertised. The rooms were definitely small but that's probably more of a "that's just how it is here" type of thing. I say this across the board to the area, if there is no AC which I believe is the norm here now, a ceiling fan or room floor fan would be a great addition for comfort. Especially for travelers. I didn't like Zell am see at all but that of course is of no fault to the property owners. I guess I was surprised a lot about the area of Zell am See itself which might reflect some of the other thoughts. But overall not bad.

Nice and Convient Place To Enjoy Zell

Good breakfast kept well supplied. Nice sized and equipped room. Large balcony. Good view of mountains. Good parking arrangements. Elevator to assist with luggage. Coffee and tea free at all times. Chilled water, wine, beer, soft drinks self service pay when you leave.

Hot weather not their fault of course but the hotel has no fans available and the rooms that got the afternoon sun such as our #4 were very hot.

A good value holiday in a great atmospheric village/town

A great quality building and room. Excellent breakfast with great quality coffee. Superb location for access to ski lifts, hire shops bars and restaurants. Will stay here when I return for sure

Comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the breakfast. Pleased that we could access tea and coffee throughout the day and evening.

A room to leave luggage secure on day of departure, after check out would be helpful.

Clean friendly hotel with a fantastic location

Great location in the heart of town, lovely breakfast not a massive choice but what was there was lovely. Staff also very friendly and helpful.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the stay. If I had to be picky the bathroom was a little dated but It was clean and fit for purpose and water was always nice and hot everytine we needed it.

Bathrooms could do with updating as hadn’t changed from years ago when we last visited in 2016 we were in the same room. Breakfast was also better then.

Dirk is a kind and caring host who really looked after us. Beautiful location, very comfy beds, hot shower and great breakfast. Super, efficient service also from Kumi and Sindy. We loved our stay here!

the location is great. Nice view from the window.

We booked a room through the booking program, with 2 bedrooms, and in the hotel we were accommodated in a simple three-person room at a cheaper price, the staff did not react in any way. The price on the booking program and the hotel prices do not correspond to reality. You book one room, and the hotel staff will move you to whichever one you want.

Nice Stay

Nice area - good look out over the mountains. Friendly team running the place. Close enough to walk to the train station and shops etc. Also super close to the start of tracks to walk in the mountains.

The sink drain didn't work & I couldn't use it - they fixed it eventually but meant I needed to use the sink in the bath instead. The bath drain also was a bit clogged and wouldn't drain well. Breakfast was nice, but the bread was stale - but maybe it was because it was a holiday weekend? I struggled to find any shops that were open to buy food etc! Aside from that - the place was great!
