Good city break hotel

Great location. Easy walk to city centre and on a tram route. Good breakfast and secure parking. Staff helpful and friendly.

The room didn't have a fridge and the entrance to the parking was quite tight.

It's a lovely medium-size hotel in a nice district. We used it as a base for exploring the Mosel and Rhine valleys but it's perfect for exploring Bonn as well. Free parking was very much appreciated. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging. First-rate!

The only thing that we missed was a fridge/mini-bar because we needed to keep milk and food cold during our stay.

Nice place in the old center of Bonn. Breakfast was good and varied.

The entrance to the parking lot is really tight with only 2cm of room on either side of the car. The rooms have no air conditioning and no fridge/minibar to cool your water bottles.

Very nice stay. Nice reception staff.

Nice little hotel with friendly check-in staff at reception. We were allowed to check-in slightly earlier than the allocated time which was a bonus as it meant we could spend more time in the centre of Bonn. Room was downstairs and initially seemed a little stuffy but we left the windows open all night and it turned out to be nice and cool. Shame that no tea/coffee facilities were available in the room. Beds comfortable. Shower nice and powerful. Good parking available too for our motorcycles.

Sometimes it's nice to have tea and coffee facilities for basic refreshments.

Everything was OK, i am pleased especially with no problem of late arrival, Room was clean, hotel also. Reasonable price for quality.

Only thing with disadvantage - too narrow entrance to parking. I dont have too big car but on each side there was 5cm of space, I made it through, but there were many visible scratches on walls and som not skilled drivers with wide cars could have a problem.

Great place to stay!

The staff was extremely nice. I arrived later in the afternoon and they made me feel welcome + provided all relevant information into the surroundings. As I was travelling for business meetings, they offered to waive the city tourist tax. They also helped with my laundry, which I needed fast before continuing the journey. The hotel is located just about 1km from the Museum Koenig Station (Tram 66 coming straight from the Central Station), and just in front you have also connection to the tram network of the city. The town is quite nice, with supermarkets, shops and restaurants very close by. Internet was fast, which was helpful as I was having meetings and calls during the time there.

Modern hotel, with the tramway in front to reach easily the city center. Large room, and very good breakfast with the choice between sugary and salty pieces.

The only advantage is that it's close to the Fairtrade office.

It hasn't improved a single bit in 8 years. Furniture is super basic, colors don't match, the design is horrible, it feels like you are in a old people home, but the very sad ones. There is not even a plug next to the bed. Breakfast is OK if you are not vegan or lactose/gluten intolerant. WiFi is horrid. I hope I never have to stay there again.

Free parking in the surface lot in the hotel courtyard, but be forewarned that the entrance is very narrow (I was glad I was driving a sedan and not an SUV/van!) Large room and bathroom. Balcony.

The hotel was a good value, very clean, had a good breakfast and a good location.

The reception at check in was rude about my command of the German language, offering me to "practice" my German when we had already carried out a complete conversation in German. I have C1 command of German language and have lived in Germany for years, so these micro-aggressions are constant and simply grate on the nerves. These type of comments are right up there with the question "Where do you come from? ...No, where do you really come from?" In an international city like Bonn, I really think hostel staff can be held to a touch higher standard.

We had a brief but comfortable stay at Hotel Astoria, located in a calm, quaint neighbourhood close to the Bonn center.

It had very spacious, clean rooms (ours even came with a shared balcony) in a calm neighbourhood, not too far from the center. The free on site parking was also a Cherry on the top!

Very friendly employees, good breakfast, clean rooms and a free parking spot on the property. City center is a few minutes away with the tram.

There is free WiFi in the hotel, it's free and useless with no internet connection. In the rooms on the street side one can hear the trams in the night.

A very comfortable and convenient hotel at a reasonable price.

This is a comfortable hotel with easy access to the city centre. There is a tram stop in the same street a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel. Both trams 61 and 62 take you to and from the main station. Tickets can be bought on the tram. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. There is a Spanish and an Italian restaurant next to each other a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Both were recommended by the hotel receptionist. Given that there is a tram [U-Bahn] which takes you from the main station to Köln (Cologne), this is also a convenient hotel for visiting that city. The location was quiet and on-site free parking was a bonus. Next time I will use this option rather than booking a separate hotel in Köln.

There was no kettle in the room for making tea and coffee. Also, the cleaning staff immobilised the lift in the morning which meant it was necessary to carry luggage downstairs in order to check out.
