Convenient location, good parking, decent breakfast options, tidy room, comfy bed, clean shower room.

Room could have been warmer on arrival, necessitated turning heating up after which it was fine for remainder of stay. Toilet flush was a challenge to get to work.

Handy location for early morning flight

My check in was effortless & the welcome I received was both very open & personable. The dinning facilities where very basis as I arrived late, but was more than sufficient as an early night was planned. My room was very quiet & was situated away from the flow of traffic noise, which in itself is very little. It was both clean & comfortable, though there where glasses for drinking no actual jugs of water, so everything must come from the sink in the bathroom. My bed was comfortable & had an additional cover available for those whom suffer greatly from the cold, central heating is on so the room does stay very warm. Breakfast in the morning was substantial for any guests who prefer a light breakfast, such as my self.

The very welcoming staff who were super flexible (for example keeping the breakfast bar open beyond the normal time to accommodate late arrivals and giving a room over for a work call in the afternoon after the normal checkout time). They went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable.

I stayed for 3 nights. There was a different "duty manager/receptionist" each night. All staff were excellent; friendly, helpful, courteous. The wifi was very good. The room was ok for the price, and the bed comfortable. The breakfasts were ok, very basic, but ok for the price paid. The location of the hotel was good for me.

It was consistently difficult to flush the toilet; the button press needed brute strength and even then it took 3 or 4 attempts. That's really poor. The water pressure of the shower was terrible. Above cold water and into some heat, the water dwindled to a trickle. That's pretty poor. I reported both of these at the time of my stay. There was mould on the shower mat. The whole room smelled musty. The evening food (I ate there twice) was poor. The baked potato with prawns on the first evening was just about ok. I thought it might be a blip. I ate at a restaurant elsewhere on the 2nd evening and had an amazing dinner. The chicken casserole at the hotel on the 3rd evening was truly awful (and worse than a poorly prepared ready meal). I left most of it and resorted to a bag of crisps. The WORST thing of all, is that the owners/general manager(s) seem to have completely ignored the complaints raised in previous reviews (I've since read them ALL), including difficulty in toilet flushing, and poor food, and poor water pressure, and much more besides. This hotel seemingly makes a good income from the TT races, but for much of the rest of the year it can't be very profitable if it relying on airport users. IoM is a very small airport, (8 flights per day?) and therefore can't depend on passengers for much income. (During my 3 night stay, I only saw 9 or 10 other hotel guests in the whole stay.) So the hotel is caught in a doom-loop. It doesn't make desperately needed improvements because it doesn't have a sufficient number of customers all year round, (cash-flow must be very poor) and therefore can't afford it. But if it doesn't afford it soon, I don't see how it can stay open in the current state of affairs. If the owners want to contact me (I have some experience in business consultancy, and in hospitality) I could offer them suggestions on they might turn around this death spiral. They will know my details.

Motel is conveniently located about a 5 min walk from the airport, where one can also catch the bus toward points south or Douglas. Continental breakfast was included. Staff are helpful and attentive, and there are nice touches in the common area such as a lending library, guidebooks, posted public transit schedules, etc.

Facilities could do with an update. For example, the hallway smelled of mildew, likely from the carpet which has seen better days. Windows whistle during high winds.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly.

No hot water in the morning. White shower curtain was an orange colour up to a foot from the bottom. Needs replacing. False alarm for fire, after guests started evacuating, no explanation. To be fair -- this was not the staff's fault. Bed was very uncomfortable.

My room was nearest to the door from the bar area and it banged loudly every time someone went in or out. Toilet didn't flush

Its a budget hotel so you should expect certain things that you would not accept in more expensive hotels

Breakfast selection a little limited but nice food. Great shower and nice towels. Judith was nice on reception/bar/chef. Lots of parking. Good value for location

Beds were rather hard as were the pillows struggled to get comfy and woke with a few aches. Carpet could do with refreshing. Everywhere a little tlc needed but nothing to impact on your overall stay.

Clean and comfortable basic accommodation Ideal for a short stay. Breakfast is included. Location is near the airport if you're flying in or out; there was minimal disturbance from the limited number of flights.

Location is midway between Ballasall and Castletown so it's a five minute drive or twenty-five minute walk to the nearest pub or restaurant, though there is a garage with shop about a fifteen minute walk away.
