Wello Apartments

This hotel apartment is right on a beautiful pedestrian street in an upmarket area of Barcelona where locals are going about their daily lives. The hotel was secure and well equipped for our group of three . We found plenty of restaurants and food markets nearby. It was a 10 min walk max to either Universitat Metro or Passeg de Gracias Metro.

There were some very particular rules written about price of each item if damaged which was fair, but I made an initial video of the apartment in case I needed to prove we didn’t damage anything. That may have been over the top but I would rather be sure- a bit like hiring a car.

The apartment exceeded our expectations – it was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, with Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla within walking distance. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and attractions nearby, making it easy to explore Barcelona on foot. A special mention goes to the friendly and helpful staff. We arrived well before check-in time and had no problem leaving our luggage in the dedicated storage room, which allowed us to start exploring the city straight away without any hassle. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again. We highly recommend Wello Apartments to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with a great location and excellent service in Barcelona!

The reception did not work on Sunday. The machine apparently did not accept any American cards. By sheer luck, I had a European card with me; otherwise, we would have stayed on the street.
