About this apartment rental
This centrally located apartment, just steps away from Plaza Catalunya and the famous Passeig de Gracia, suits all tastes.
The living room with open kitchen has a classic design. Just as the master bedroom and the second bedroom, both with a double bed. Both the third bedroom and fourth bedroom have two single beds.
There are 2 very comfortable double sofa beds (one in each of the big bedrooms with a queen size bed)
Three out of four bedrooms are air-conditioned, including the living; all of them have balcony access. (the fourth bedroom has a fan).
The apartment is completely equipped so that you won't be less comfortable than in your own home. It has a flat screen TV, DVD, High speed Wifi internet and expandable dining table for up to 10 guests. There is a dish washer, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and of course fresh towels and bed linen are provided for.
You can shop till you drop, have convenient stores and other shops literally at your doorstep, making it a perfect base from where to explore Barcelona. Check out one of my favourite streets around the corner, Calle Enrique Granados. It is a pedestrian street, with loads of greenery and coffee shops, eateries, art galleries and nice shops. Come and stay at this uniquely decorated apartment with old original Barcelonian touches.
The metro station Universidad is less than 5 minutes walking. Plaza Cataluña (at the top of the famous Las Ramblas) would be less than 10 minutes walking.
So apart from having a very central locations, there is also transportation nearby to get you around the city. For example to get on to the yellow line that goes along the coast to a variety of beaches, you would only need 2 stops.
PLEASE NOTE: Tourist tax needs to be paid upon arrival and is 9€ per person per night (max of 7 nights). I cannot host young groups of friends unfortunately!! Please enquire before if you are a group in between 18-25

Emeley the property manager was wonderful. When I texted her she was able to set up taxis for us. We were able to check in early.

An excellently located comfortable large classic apartment from late 19th to early 20th century whose kitchen and bathrooms have been modernized. The apartment was well stocked with the various paper needs, towels and soap. The beds and linen were good. WiFi was good. Communication with the host was excellent. Our only problem was we did not have use of a functioning dryer which was disappointing being that was a criteria for picking a property for a large group. They said the filter was bad and they had no answer for our weeks stay. Frankly, the dryer was dated (washer looked to be much newer) and probably needs to be replaced. Also the annoying Barcelona per person (hotel??) tax that they want in cash but won't give a receipt for- they do have an electronic solution for paying the tax that produces a receipt. Bit of a head scratcher. Overall we enjoyed the apartment and Barcelona.

We loved this well kept classic building with its' tiles, high ceilings, chandeliers and balconies.Tastefully updated with 2 modern bathrooms, washer & dryer and kitchen. Close to everything. Great host!

Very good location and property has plenty of room. Building is old and lift not very reliable so be prepared to climb steps. Two bathrooms but only one shower can be used at a time as the other goes cold. However we had an enjoyable time and would use HomeAway again.
