The Lodge was in a fantastic location, easy to access by public transport and within walking distance of Coleford (great for those without a car!). The room was very spacious, and the decor was unique and cool, with a super comfortable bed! Helen and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we would absolutely stay here again!
The tv was small, but not really an important part of our stay, so not really an issue.

After a walk up pen y fan in the wind and rain it was a nice place to come back to relax for the night then home early the next morning.

Good location as in the middle of what we wanted to do. Light breakfast was included which was nice. Jon the manager was very friendly and tried to sort the bed situation out as best as he could. The place is hard to find as no signposts but Jon provided helpful google locations.
Booked for a double and single bed but only double bed was in the room (booking.com have since updated this to say double only, would have not booked if we knew that was the case). Lots of cobwebs in the bedroom. Bathroom/bedroom had no door therefore no privacy, due to a location of a mirror you could then see in the bathroom whilst someone was in the bedroom and visa versa. When using the shower the whole floor got wet, the bathroom and bedroom smelt damp and towels didn't feel dry, there were several Beetles in the bathroom. The hot tap on the sink didn't work. The pictures on the site made it look like there would be food options, this wasn't the case. No Netflix as mentioned. Would probably only recommend staying for a night just as something different.
