The location was amazing and the views spectacular, even during a thunderstorm! The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The food and drink in the restaurant was good value. Elisa and her staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved having a reserved table, with the best view of the lake.

There was nothing that we ‘disliked’ but the WiFi was not great so this meant the tv streaming channels often didn’t work ( not a problem for us though) and the air con mostly only cooled the entrance- rather than the bedroom or small lounge. We had the Mountain View deluxe double room- if I came again I would pay better attention when booking and try for a lake view, as it really is an amazing view.

Wonderful, clean, great food and beautiful views!

We LOVED this property ! It was located perfectly for the ferry to Monte Isola and for general walking and views. Elisa was a fantastic host from start to finish and the property was immaculate inside and just what we needed. The views of Lake Iseo from our room were beautiful! The wine and food was gorgeous and we were given the best spot as a guest at the restaurant for views over the lake! I would stay here again most definitely. Thankyou Elisa and your team.

The view!

The stunning view over Lake Iseo from the breakfast and pizzeria was definitely the best. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was OK for two mornings. Good and silent location on the east side of the lake. You can walk to the closest villages Sulzano, etc, but for longer distances I think you need a car or a bike.

Our room view wasn’t greatest, it was in backyard and only an hedge and service stairs were to see. However, in a hot summer you wan’t be sittin in a room and looking for a view.

Fabulous lake views and friendly hosts!

We loved the location and spectacular views of Lake Iseo. The views are exactly as you see on the listing. Our room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped, with a spacious en-suite bathroom. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming and gave us a wonderful stay. Thank you! Julie and Stephen Xx

Perfect Stay!!!

What a great find!!! As the hotels in Milano were fully booked, I have booked a room at Vela di Soleville. a familly owned hotel, with very stylish equipment and extremely big bathrooms (with built in shower room and massage bath tub)….the best part of my stay was enjoying on the terrace with an astonishing view on Lago di Iseo and…as Foodie - their home restaurant with glass walls with the lake view was one of the best Finds in this year. Fantastic food and wine and in overall…perfect stay!!!

A complete oasis in the hills

It’s a restaurant and bed and breakfast all together with absolutely splendid views over Lago d’Iseo. The host, Elisa, was so welcoming and super helpful. The restaurant’s food is also delicious and breakfast was copious with plenty of options for any type of diet. my room was large with a gigantic bathroom with a jacuzzi as well. It was super clean and very comfy. I wanted to come back and stay there again to go explore the island but didn’t have the time; but I’m definitely coming back here my next trip to Italy. This place is an absolute must!!!!

Good location - we enjoy hiking and there are good paths behind the B&B Coffee at breakfast good and okay selection for breakfast Host was friendly

Breakfast was oddly timed at 9-9.30, very late for a breakfast especially when you want to start walking early to beat the heat. Also no option to sit outside at breakfast. Our room (room 1) was above the restaurant toilets and we could hear the restaurant hand driers constantly going until late The B&B terrace was shared not only with other apartments (which is fine) but the restaurant goers, particularly smokers, continually came and used it (there is nothing stopping them) until late- as our room was on the corner with two big windows and thin curtains this was extra annoying as we felt like we had no privacy even with the curtains shut, so we couldn’t enjoy the view. On top of this the terrace lights were bright and stayed on all night, shining like headlights through the curtain directly on to the bed (see photo) The beds were uncomfortable and not a double but two singles together that made noise every time you moved The room looked smart but was not functional, the fridge is unusable (small and not cold) and there are not enough rails for towels in the bathroom Overall we felt this stay was the worst of our 7 stays this holiday in Italy despite being one of the more expensive ones, along with the restaurant guests walking past our windows late in the evening and the uncomfy bed and lights, on the final night there were fireworks which we were not warned about that woke us up at 11.30 at night, and of course the hand driers continued after this. I feel a lot of the issues are easy to solve with thicker curtains and a sign on the balcony saying it is for guests not restaurant goers - allowing the room to be darker for sleep as well as a greater sense of privacy. However, I now see similar complaints on previous reviews and nothing has been done.

Fabulous location with stunning lake view. Great that there is a terrace in front of the rooms where the guests can sit. Very good breakfast. Friendly reception from the owner Elisa. Also very convenient that the guests can park in the garage. Restaurant is also very good.

The village of Sale Marasino is very small and there is not much to see, so you need to plan trips to other nearby places.

A comforfortable room in a great location! Highly recommended!

The property sits on a small hill just above the lake. From the room you have access to a spacious terrace where you enjoy the breathtaking view and relax. The room is comfortable and spotless clean! There is also access to the restaurant where they serve great food and good wine selection. Breakfast was great and abundant!

Beautiful spot, very good accommodation

Very nice location, beautiful lake view. Good bedroom, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was very tasteful and well more than enough choice. We thought it was a pitty that we could not have breakfast outside. We did not have dinner in the hotel but had a glass of wine after we came back from the restaurant we had chosen for the evening. The location restaurant als has a nice view, the housewine was not our favourite.

Location was very good, the breakfast is excellent, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We didnt get to drink any of the wine because we arrived on a Monday and left the next morning, but they have a large selection, so it seems like they know what they are doing. Wasn't that hard to find either.

Was dirty in some places, there was some trash right outside the window. That was probably left there by a guest right before we arrived, but yeah that wasn't great. There was also a spiderweb in the corner of the room.
