A charming stay with so much history.

Our stay at Come Una Volta exceeded all of our expectations. Located centrally in Peschiera Maraglio it was close to restaurants, ferries and walking paths around the island. We received a warm greeting from Romina the host/owner and she made us feel immediately at home. She provided helpful information and recommendations for enjoying our time on the island. The breakfasts were delicious and the surroundings charming! Truly a memorable experience!

In the early morning, the smell of the bakery located a few meters further and the birds chirping all over.

A bit noisy in the morning, church bell sounding and the usual morning rituals of the neighbours waking up arround the street. But if you're really looking for the Italian experience, then this was not bothering at all.

Outstanding manager, Romina was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. She went above and beyond to help us extend our stay by an additional night at the last minute. Location was excellent, just a few minutes from the ferry and just one row back from the water. Real old style, homey B&B. Felt so at ease there. Would have preferred a queen-sized mattress, but that's a minor issue. Loved this place and the whole island and will stay here again if we return.

The location was fantastic, the host very helpful even though her English was not the best, the room was very comfortable and breakfast was very good with most of the food locally sourced.

There was no fridge in the room and the wi fi connection was not good unless you were downstairs.

Le séjour nous a permis de nous ressourcer en posant le pied sur une île superbe.

La maison de village est parfaitement située en plein centre de la ville et a proximité immédiate de l’embarcadère et des restaurants. L’originalité de la chambre avec la salle de bain en passant par le balconnet est très marrante et insolite et le lit ainsi que la climatisation nous ont apporté un réel confort. Enfin l’accueil de Romina et ses conseils nous ont permis de passer un super séjour.

Kunde inte vara ett bättre boende. Fantastisk ägare i Romina som med fingertoppskänsla ombesörjer varje liten detalj för att göra vistelsen perfekt: mycket fint renoverade rum i detta gamla genuina och mysiga hus, bästa tänkbara frukost levererad till rummet, skinande rent och fräscht, läget har den bästa utgångspunkten till allt fantastiskt vad ön har att bjuda men ett stenkast bort så att det är lugnt och behagligt på natten.

Att vi var tvungna att åka hem från denna idyll.

Dépaysement magique.

Accueil exceptionnel par Romina qui a pris du temps pour nous donner toutes les explications nécessaires au bon déroulement du séjour. Une belle rencontre humaine avec une dame éminemment sympathique et attachante, attachée à son île et à son village. L'hébergement est dans le village au milieu des habitants que l'on entend parler et vivre. On se croirait presque dans un film. La chambre est décorée avec goût et dispose de tout le confort moderne. Le petit déjeuner est extra, préparé avec amour et monté en chambre à l'heure choisie. L'environnement est exceptionnel lui aussi, surtout si on s'éloigne un peu de l'embarcadère, soit pour faire le tour de l'île, pour monter au sommet de l'île ou encore pour aller à la plage. Beaucoup de monde en journée, surtout en saison touristique, mais le soir le village retrouve sa sérénité et les petits bars permettent de boire le vin ou la bière du terroir et de manger les spécialités.

La meilleure expérience de notre voyage en italie

Nous avons vraiment été ravis de rencontrer Romina dans sa belle et grande maison de famille très joliment rénovée, située à quelques pas de l'embarcadère. La chambre est parfaite : Pas un seul bruit de toute la nuit et elle est vraiment spacieuse et bien décorée avec des jolis mobiliers et la salle de bains bien aménagée ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé les échanges avec Romina qui est une grande voyageuse avec qui il est génial de discuter ! Le petit déjeuner était parfait. Nous conseillons très vivement de faire un escale chez Romina
