Lovely place to stay

Nice hotel for a weekend at the lake - but street noise

The room was nice as we had the lakeview room with a little balcony. Room and bathroom were spacious. Bed mattress was comfortable, it may be too soft for other people, but we liked it. Good breakfast in the morning inside or outside terrace. Parking at the hotel was no problem.

Although the lakeview is incredible, as many others mentioned before, the hotel is directly at the street level and it is very noisy. Every motorbike, truck and car can be heard and many times they go fast and loud. Even with the window closed we woke up during the night and early in the morning.

Very clean, well equipped, good bed linen and fabulous view of the lake. Very welcoming staff, bikes available free of charge, which you could take on the ferry to the Island. Great location to tour the lake and near Iseo town, which has plenty restaurants and shops

A really relaxing and special place to stay - recommended.

The pictures on booking.com showed a wonderful location and bright and airy room at a reasonable price. What we got exceeded expectations. The location 'is to die for' right on the banks of Lago d'Iseo. The staff are very helpful and there is a choice of great a la carte food or pizza in the restaurant. One evening when we arrived back from a long and tiring drive, the staff recognised that we do with an extra large drink.

There is not much I didn't like. A bit too much road noise. An extractor fan in the bathroom would be nice, and the mattress was not the most comfortable.

The location of "A Lago" is great and the rooms are nice. We took a Pizza dinner in the evening and the food was good. Nice location but with (partly) VERY unfriendly staff.

When we arrived, we were almost "ignored" from the staff. When I wanted to check in in english, the staff ran away without a word ....... then a friendly person arrived where we could check in. Breakfast in the morning was not ready at 8:30am, but instead of a "sorry", we were treated very unfriendly as it would be our fault. At 8:45am the (nice) Breakfast was ready. The waiter (treating us very unfriendy before) was sitting outside , having a break with a collegue and complaining loudly about different topics.

The view from our room looked over to the Lake. Very modern room, nice bathroom

There was a road between hotel and lake and it was a bit noisy until 10.30ish. Upon arrival, we had to wait for someone to come on duty to let us in, we did say we would be there between a certain time but due to car hire company were delayed. It would be helpful to explain to guest that if you do not arrive when stated there would be no one there until 5.30pm Breakfast could have been better.

Good Potential but far away from being perfect

The position was good, you have a good lake view and the pizza at the restaurant was good.

Very very poor breakfast, they have packages of food from which you take your bread and it's absolutely not an Hygienic method, considering there is still the pandemic on going. The room was not bad BUT absolutely not clean and you will hear a lot of noise coming from the cars on the street. The food at the restaurant was not so great beside from the pizza which I would rate 7 out of 10. The bed is not comfortable, the mattress is too soft. The value for money is not that great. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place, they have a great potential but at the moment I would choose another accommodation.

We would always come back.

The apartment is excellent. It is situated on the banks of the lake, half way between Marone and Sale Marasino and linked to a restaurant. The staff is super friendly. We had a good Italian breakfast with a lot of variety. The owners have a fleet of 12 well-maintained bicycles which they offer for free. It's such a simple yet amazingly effective service as it makes you mobile along the lake without using a car.

Unfortunately, the wifi coverage in the apartment was rather weak. But for summer holiday this was a minor issue. We would always come back.

The room was very nice but not perfect.

When we arrived at about 3pm on the 2nd August everything was closed and the notice on the door said they would open again at 6pm This was very annoying as it meant we had to wait 3 hours before we could get to our room. The place refused to say that they were in the wrong at all. Your comments all mentioned how good the breakfast was and yet they never even put out what they were serving except the last day that we were there and there was a change of staff and that was the first time that things changed a bit.

Good value for money and good restaurant, great location for visiting Lake Iseo ... but noisy

The view from our balcony and window, overlooking Lago de Iseo. The restaurant of the hotel is very good and not expensive, we had a great dinner on the day of our arrival: good view from the terrace and great for fish and pasta. The location is good: on foot to Sale Marassino it's just a short walk, and from there you have access to the boats to go to Monte Isola or to other villages on the shore of the lake.

The noise from the road, just in between the lake and the hotel. Some photos from the Booking page are misleading, they are taken in such a way that you think the terrace is directly on the lake, while it's not the case, the road is in between. To say all, we should have payed more attention before booking, but the photos mislead us. During the night it is more or less calm, but you will wake up very soon, as soon as the traffic begins, around 6-7am. A pity not to be able to have a good rest. The isolation from the windows is modern, but it is not enough.

Una buona soluzione per soggiornare al lago

Appartamento molto ampio, dotato di lavatrice e asciugatrice. Due camere da letto spaziose. Non abbiamo utilizzato la cucina, ma ci ha fatto piacere trovare alcune bottiglie d'acqua nel frigorifero. La vista di una delle due camere da letto, direttamente sul lago, era meravigliosa! Ciclopedonale proprio davanti all'hotel e imbarco del traghetto per Monteisola nel paese a fianco. Ristopizza al piano di sotto con pizze davvero ottime! Staff molto gentile e sorridente.

La camera con vista lago affaccia sulla strada quindi, per chi non è abituato, il rumore delle auto di passaggio può dare un pò fastidio. Piccolo disagio ripagato dalla stupenda vista che ci si trova davanti al mattino . Il soffione della doccia un pò troppo alto e non regolabile.

In der Anfrage vom Hotel, wurde bestätigt, dass wir um 17:00 einchecken können. Da wir schon den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren, sind wir um 16:50 vor Ort gewesen. Nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen bei einer Kellnerin, war um 17:25 endlich jemand zum Einchecken da. Ohne weitere Entschuldigung konnten wir endlich ins Zimmer. Der Parkplatz entpuppte sich als Parkplatz am Straßenrand, wo es nicht sicher war. Da man auf einer Durchreise nur eine kleine Tasche für eine Übernachtung dabei hat, und das gesamte Gepäck im Auto ist, war dies nicht ideal.

Stanza comoda e pulita. L’alloggio affaccia direttamente sul lago e gode di una posizione strategica per visitare i vari paesi che lo costeggiano e per prendere il traghetto per Monte Isola. La struttura mette a disposizione gratuitamente le biciclette. La colazione era ottima e il ristorante dell'hotel offre un'ottima cucina, prediligendo prodotti della zona. Assolutamente consigliato.

Perfekt ställe att stanna till på en natt då det var bekvämt, lätt att parkera och de hade egen restaurang.

Bekväm och fräsch lägenhet med fin utsikt mot Monte Isola. Bra och prisvärd restaurang. Frukost av normal standard ingick.

Det går en väg mellan boendet och vattnet men inget som störde nattsömnen.
