The hotel had the atmosphere of a true family run hotel with a professional twist. The staff were attentive and helpful.
The position of the hotel on the island gave us the opportunity to watch the sunrise and the sunset from our room 8, as well as hearing the water lapping against the walls..
The food was first class, with plenty of fresh fish from the lake. The wines were great, chosen by the their son who is a qualified sommelier.
I can't say there was anything wrong, only to warn that there is no lift and the rooms are on 3 floors.
Also, weekends get busy on the Island with day trippers, but during the week it was quiet during the week in October.

Very clean, excellent location, helpful and friendly staff.
The food was fantastic, a good breakfast selection and the evening meal was exceptional.
