Palazzo Altinate - Note di Piano

This was less a place to stay and more an experience—though it is also excellent accommodation. Filippo was a wonderful host: friendly, easy to communicate with, and always helpful. The apartment is one I will never forget. Stepping inside felt like entering a time capsule, an old Italianate home that seems largely unchanged for generations. It gave us a rare opportunity to experience a more traditional Italian way of life and to appreciate the character and history of the building itself. The apartment is enormous, with magnificent 4–5 metre painted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, grand fireplaces, and beautiful original dark wood furniture throughout. Every room is full of atmosphere and authentic period detail. If you’re looking for a modern, minimalist space, this may not be for you—but if you appreciate history, character, and a genuine sense of place, this apartment is truly special.

Booked this place for my brother's family while visiting me from the US. The host deserves a 15/10 rating. We arrived very very late to the place (0100) and the host greeted them with no issues. The A/C was not working the first night and the host had it fixed the very next morning. The host also ensured that laundry was able to be completed (they backpacked Rome to Naples before arriving). The place itself is absolutely wonderful. Full of history and elegance, it truly is the 'Italian experience' and I can not say enough good things about the accommodations and the host.

Huge, 3 bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the heart of Padova The antique furnishings, family photos and vintage artwork make this a special place to stay. Comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen.

Some of the fixtures are showing their age and could use some modernization, particularly in the bathroom.
