A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of Italy

Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Nice walk from the station and a beautiful walk to the promenade. Some amazing restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Alberto was very helpful and informative. A great base to explore Milan, Verona, Sirmione and of course lake Garda. Would highly recommend.

Location is excellent! 5min to the lake and main attractions, yet very quiet, no traffic. Lovely small park across the street. Very unique decor inside.

Beautiful Apartment and excellent location

Alberto is a great host and he makes sure to welcome you to the apartment and offers to pick you up and take you back to the train station. It is definitely worth it on the return to the station since it is uphill. We really appreciated Alberto dropping us off since our train to Venice was at 7 am. Alberto takes the time to help explain Lake Garda and offers many helpful tips. He is extremely friendly and takes pride in this apartment that has been in his family for generations. The apartment is very clean and charming and is perfectly situated. It is half way between the train station and the downtown area with dinning and cafes. I totally recommend this accommodation and the Genovese Burger at Burger and Spritz.

Exceptional

The apartment was fabulous and so central, close to trains, ferry and eateries. The host was so helpful, picked us up from the airport and advised on best places to eat. He was available for any questions we had. Would definitely like to stay in this apartment again if we go back to Lake Garda.

Fantastic location, great facilities, friendly host.

Fabulous place. Welcoming, communicative host with lots of local tips and insights. The location is gorgeous, a neighborhood with great shops and lovely eateries, we had a particularly enjoyable night at La Frasca across the square, and the gelato a few doors down was delish. Two minute walk to the lake.

I have given Alberto’s place a ten because for our family it was but for others less nimble it may not be a great fit, just be aware there are two flights of stairs going up to the apartment and a small slope to navigate coming back from the lake.

We would definitely recommend Relais de la Place. We had a great holiday here.

We had a great stay here. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped and the air conditioning kept us cool at night during some quite warm weather. The host Alberto was also very helpful. The location was fantastic, overlooking a quiet square, but with bars and cafes nearby and just a short walk to the lake front where there were restaurants, bars and the ferry, which allowed us to explore the lake. It was also only a short walk to the railway station allowing us to travel easily to Verona and Venice.

Fairly poor

Our trip took place during a heat spell in July 2022. The apartment is advertised as having airconditioning. In fact, there was only one AC in the corridor and no AC in the bedrooms or family/kitchen room. Upon our complaints, the host responded that you can see from the photos that the AC is in the corridor... Having said that, he was willing to help and bought us three fans. We had to sleep with bedroom doors open and fans on to survive the heat. We made almost no use of the kitchen/living room area. The fridge was empty: no cold water!!!, no milk.

Best find ever

We absolutely loved everything about this property. The host was exceptional, offering recommendations and fully informing us about everything we possibly needed to know. He even offered us a lift to the station at the end of our stay. Everything was very clean, wifi and aircon both worked effectively. Location is fabulous and we are so glad we booked where we did. Even given how last minute our booking was, everything was so smoothly handled. We would 100% come back here again and it really was the small details such as different flavoured teas, nice crockery, the mosquito diffusers, ironing board, transfer etc which just made such a difference to the overall experience at this property. Thank you SO much, we loved it!

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Vermieter. Es hat rundherum eigentlich alles gepasst.

WLAN könnte besser sein, mal ging es halbwegs, mal wieder nicht. Ist ein Mobilfunk-Router, und in diesem Ort hat es einige größere Funklöcher. Hier wäre ein Festnetz-Anschluss angebracht.
