Beautiful Apartment !! Great location !! Wonderful host !!

Myself and my girlfriend recently stayed here at the Bouganville apartments. We were really happy with the apartment and its location. The little beach and mini-market are only a 5 minute walk away. Desenzano old town centre is also only a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction. There is a nice market on Tuesdays until lunch time along by the water. There are plenty of restaurants with gluten free pizza and pasta in the town ! The ferry port is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. From here it’s only 20 minutes by boat to the beautiful town of Sirmione. Here I would strongly recommend the Sirmione Spa and Thermal garden!! The town of Peschiera is also only 30 minutes by bus. The apartment itself is lovely and spacious. It had everything we needed, plus the decor is very cute!! It is in a nice quiet location so we had no issues sleeping. There is a balcony with space if you wish to dine outside and to dry clothes. The air conditioning in the living room and main bedroom was great! It cooled the apartment very well during the heat. There is a vending machine downstairs with toothpaste, water bottles etc which is a lovely touch! Alberto was extremely helpful and friendly at all times! He always responded very quickly. He also accommodated us leaving our luggage in the building upon check-out which was very helpful on our last day by the lake! We would definitely stay here again if we go to Lake Garda in the future!

Beautiful, elegant and comfortable apartment with everything you need, in the heart of the town

The owner kindly met us at the railway station late at night to take us to the apartment, which was very much appreciated. The sofa bed was made up, there was tea, coffee and milk available and the apartment was beautifully decorated with a very homely feel. The air conditioning was fantastic. It was very comfortable, and we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return

A beautiful apartment tastefully furnished with wonderful service

A completely seamless process with a host available regularly to ensure we were settled. Beautifully clean and well furnished apartment which was both comfortable and welcoming. Full of Italian charm. Fantastic location for exploring.

Nothing at all to improve upon. You will not find better for the price, location and service. I only wish we had more time here.

Lovely apartment approx 200 metres from the lake & local beach. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Well presented apartment, good size, exceptional host who was very friendly & helpful. Also in walking distance to the ferry, about 10 mins.Quiet local area. Lots of beautiful medieval castles to visit.

Cozy apartment near the lake

We liked the coziness of this place, It was close to the lake 2 bedrooms Hot water in the evening and in the morning Twinings (my favourite tea brand) cattle! I loved it! Teas, pasta, very well equiped kitchen (even though we were not cooking) The owner ( I am sorry i forgot the name) was very kind, explained us everything, gave us map and tips. Also when I needed help through whatsapp, he responded quickly

Its a bit far from the train station (20min by walk uphill) but we knew that Its 9/10 because of the mosquitos and spiders. There was a huge problem with mosquitos (late September) and as the ceilings in the apartment was so high, it was no possible to kill neither spider or mosquitos :( A lack of real blankets was a big no go for me. It was late September not July to sleep under one thin blanket, not enough for me. I had to take cover blanket from other room

Great 1-bedroom apartment in good location (altho’ sadly not the 2 bedroom we had reserved)

I booked a 2 bed apartment a few months before arrival as I was travelling with my mother, as well as my husband. Sadly there was an issue a few days before and so we were downgraded to the one bedroom (with compensation) which wasn’t ideal. The stay was still very good (very good location, very nice host). I liked the look of the Bougainville apartments due to their over the top use of colour which I know my mom loves, so this definitely exceeded expectations. Good spacious apartment (albeit only one bedroom). Nice kitchen and dining area. Modern bathroom. Comfy beds. Netflix available on the tv, which was an unexpected treat. Off street parking. Nice gift from Alberto the host on departure.

Because of the issue with our 2 bedroom booking being unavailable, and only notified a few days before, there was some stress about trying to find an alternative 2 bed in the area with prices double what they had been when I originally booked. So we had no choice but to stay in the 1 bedroom plus sofa bed in the living/dining/kitchen area. Everything would have been perfect if we’d had the two bedroom we booked. We made it work and the apartment was still good, and we had a nice stay. Also note, internet was patchy.

Excellent apartments in a good location. Very hospitable and attentive hosts. The apartments have a lot of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Parking on site. We loved it, we recommend it and would love to come back again!

Garda vacation

We liked everything about this property. Our host Alberto was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. His Desenzano restaurant recommendations were spot-on. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped in everything we needed to stay for a few days. The location was perfect, close to the lake, the port, and the town center with easy access to many restaurants and stores. It was great to have a parking spot on property. During our stay, we visited several towns on the Garda lake. Desenzano seems to be one of the best ones to stay in.

The place is near to the centrum, quiet and comfortable. Easy to reach with a car, at 15 minutes walk from the station. I liked that I did not have to buy stuff like sugar, salt, and soap just for 2 nights, but the host provided those in the house. It was possible to cook and order a take out easily. I also needed to iron my shirt and it was possible. The house is perfect.

Perfect location, host, weather - all equalling a perfect holiday in beautiful, scenic Lake Garda.

We liked everything. Alberto met us at the train station, loaded our suitcases into the car, gave us a guided tour of area, asked us what we might be interested in doing during our stay and pointed out most relevant areas and offered very good advice on all that we needed. Location very central to all our requirements; train station 15 min walk, buses, bars, restaurants, lakeside front just a short stroll away. Apartment was very spacious and clean and met all our needs. Few days in Alberto offered to clean apartment and change linen, very kind considering Easter holidays, we only requested more towels. We had his contact number/email and WhatsApp and were told to contact him if we required anything. He very kindly offered to drop us back at the station on our return journey. All in all we were very happy with our stay at Le Bouganville and wouldn't hesitate in recommending highly enough. Thank you Alberto for making our stay so pleasurable.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Alberto was a great host, very helpful, with amazing recommendations and very caring for his guests. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. It was perfectly located, so near to the lake and city center. Our dog also loved this place! When visiting Desenzano / Garda, we would definitely love to stay there again!! Grazie mille, Alberto!

Brilliant stay. Property is clean, well furnished and well decorated. Host was lovely. Picked us up from the train station, gave us a quick tour of area and advice on where to eat, Was always available by text to help and dropped us back at station at the end of the week. Property is very short walk to the front and the lake, yet very quiet and peaceful at night. Will stay here if ever get the chance to come back .
