Excellent apartment that was close to town

Friendly staff who offered to carry my bags upstairs. The location to the middle of town was excellent, 5 minutes walk from everywhere.

Great weekend at the Haven Suites.....

This was our second time staying at Haven Suites. The location is fantastic....close to all amenities but tucked away in a nice quiet area to avoid the noise of Killarney.at night. We were met at the apartment by Donal who explained the running of everything in the apartment. The beds, cooking area, seating area and bathroom facilities were all fantastic. Will book again when coming back to Killarney.

Excellent

On arrival met with the owner and had showed us to the apartment. Was greeted with a warm apartment And the location was smack bag in the town centre If I needed anything I was given 3 mobile numbers to call not just one.there was facilities to accommodate us. It was great value for money And it had a lovely balcony over looking the city Very clean and plenty of towels provided

Very well-operated accommodation, highly recommend staying here!!

Exceptionally clean - I have a habit of sanitizing the surfaces of accommodations I check into and I found this place had surpassed my expectations in terms of cleanliness. The kitchen had most of what I needed, and there was always sufficient hot water. The building was quiet, safe, and the location is excellent. Donal was very kind and helpful!

Both my wife and I had a great stay,we went for a quiet relaxing few days .

The location was great so close to all the amenities, ( shops restaurants pubs etc) plenty of car parking space coded gate for security. The apartment had everything we needed warm and comfortable could not ask for better. The host Donal was very helpful.

The only draw back the apartments don't have a lift as I suffer with arthritis. But managed ok, That doesn't have any effect of us booking the apartment again.

Fantabulous stay in Killarney

Everything about the apartment was excellent - it was modern, clean, comfortable, warm and well-equipped. The location could not have been better and the off-road parking was a real bonus. We will definitely book again.

I wish we had been aware that some apartments have a view towards the National Park. This would have been the icing on the cake!

Excellent location, a large and comfortable apartment.

Excellent location. Felt safe and secure (solo female traveller). Easy and secure parking. The unit was much bigger than I expected, with a seperate living and bedroom. The free use of washer and dryer, inc washing powder, was useful. It was nice to be meet by the owners when I checked in, who also carried my suitcase up the stairs. Quiet location, great sleep. Communication was easy and prompt, especially when I wanted to come a day earlier than I had booked. I would definitely stay again.

Charming old world accommodation - comfortable and cosy

The apartment was really old world but totally comfortable and well equipped. It was charming! The location was ideal and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Parking was provided which was a real bonus. It was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated that tea, coffee, milk and an assortment of biscuits were supplied and very much appreciated. It was also great that there were laundry facilities provided.

It was hard to contact the gentleman we were meant to meet to collect the keys as we weren't able to call but we managed to make contact via email. Other than that, everything was great

A great place to stay when wanting a bit of space for a couple of days.

A great location in town. Plenty of space in the apartment. Easy to park the car. Donal was friendly and helpful. Great to be able to wash clothes. Beautiful new bathroom . Very comfy bed. Good value for money.

Very comfortable flat in excellent location!

Location was great, flat was spacious and very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom modern with good shower. Cosy and warm.

Great stay and value in Kilkenny

Property is just a few rooms above the pub/restaurant, room was small but surprisingly quiet and modern, ate dinner and breakfast there, good food and atmosphere, free parking on premises

Had trouble figuring out where to enter and finding where to check in (just go to the bar), not within easy walking distance to tourist area of Kilkenny which was fine with us

Very clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed including a couple days of coffee and biscuits. Excellent location but quiet. Bed extra comfortable.

We were thankful that another guest called the host for us as we would have had to pay for telephone calls if not on WhatsApp. I was in the process of texting the host when the other guest called and Donal showed up immediately.

Great location, right in town. Very spacious accommodation with a well equipped kitchen. Safe, private parking at no extra charge. Lovely new bathroom. The free laundry came in handy. Lots of tourist information readily available

Nothing considering the cost. The kitchen needs a bit of modernising but it was functional and well equipped. The furniture in the bedroom was a little tired but it covered our needs. We were not expecting luxury for the cost we paid.

Everything you need

This place is a total understated gem. Large fully equipped apartment, free laundry, centrally located, decent price - it’s fantastic.

No reception staff on site. You have to call someone half an hour before arriving. Because we were on a tour, it was hard to say when we’d arrive. Also our international phone couldn’t make calls. But we knocked on the door and thankfully he was there.

Truly superb, a hidden gem of an apartment

Absolutely everything. Haven Suites is a hidden gem bang central in the middle of Killarney a mere 30 seconds walk into the high street yet quiet & secluded. Plus free secure parking. The apartments are spacious with a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area which is so well equipped. Even had tea/coffee, milk/sugar & biscuits. A good sized bedroom with a very comfortable bed & pillows & fresh white linen. Towels & toiletries included. A beautiful new bathroom with an excellent shower. There is also an added bonus of a laundry room on the same landing which has 3 washing machine & 3 tumble dryers. Detergents there to use. Iron & ironing board in apartment. Donal, our host is a lovely man, very friendly & helpful & insisted on helping my husband upstairs with the luggage. The apartments are a credit to Donal & his family they have thought of everything. Seriously you would not wish to stay in a hotel when you have Haven Suites as an option, it was superb. We would certainly stay here again & will recommend to family & friends.

It was not a problem for us as we are able bodied, however if you have a disability in walking or climbing stairs there is no lift. Albeit the stairs are wide & not steep & with an excellent handrail

Lovely Weekend Trip

Excellent communication with the hosts, they even allowed us to check in a bit early which was very considerate and appreciated. The apartment was clean and had a lovely living room area with lots of natural light. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and there are lots of guides available with recommendations for things to do in Killarney and Kerry.

Convenient to the Town of Killarney

After a trip filled with B&Bs and hotels, it was nice to stay at a self-catering place where we could fix ourselves breakfast and dinner, and pack a lunch to go. The kitchen facilities were complete. I especially appreciated access to laundry facilities (free, but not in the room).
