The lady at the reception desk that greeted us was excellent. She was very warm and friendly and quickly had us checked in and even walked us outside to show us where to park. The apartment had 2 rooms plus a living room and kitchen which was perfect for our party of 4 to spread out a little. Unfortunately we didn’t have any hot water so we couldn’t take showers in the morning. We were able to heat up some water with kettle so it wasn’t a big problem. Great location.

The apartment was spacious, (bigger than we needed) had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Generous refridgerator and freezer. Were able to do laundry, with the combo and had a clothes rack to dry want can't be heat dryed. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed an excellent stay in Killarney at Park Place Apartments. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy and conveniently included in the room rate. Our apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped. There was a 2 day storm and we stayed more than planned at the hotel, and having the spacious and well equipped apartment made a whole lot of a difference. Very convenient base for exploring the National Park and the Peninsulas. Will definitely return when visiting Killarney again.

The picture in the listing is nit this hotel. This is a plain apartment in the city. But rooms were clean with plenty of space. Limited check in and out from 9:00-13:00 then 14:00-18:00. Which is ok, but needs to be planned around. Walking distance to Killarney shops and restaurants.

Beware hotel has minimal staffed hours at desk and will make it incredibly difficult to check in any later. We contacted ahead to let them know we couldn’t make it by then as our ferry wouldn’t arrive and needed the lock box details. These were never shared, and needed hotels.com customer service to help. When we arrived, our lock box was empty. It was only by good fortune that a staff member was walking by and helped us. Turns out they’d given our room to somebody else! We got keys for a different room for that night and were told to go down in the morning between 9 and 6 to get keys for the second night. We delayed our plans for the day to do so, and I was greeted by the rudest interaction, as if somehow I was in the wrong for them giving my keys to somebody else. The rudest interaction I’ve ever had at a hotel, and absolutely shocking to give my room to somebody else. Credit where credit is due it’s a nice place to stay and was comfortable. But wouldn’t recommend if you have plans between 9-6 and need to deal with reception.

This was the perfect place to stay while we were in Killarney. It was very spacious and clean with easy parking included, and it was within walking distance to everything in town. Staff was friendly, responsive, and accessible. Definitely would recommend, and would stay again if we return to the area.

The layout of property was confusing and difficult. We had heavy luggage and it was difficult to maneuver from building to building. The shower was very small and had a small limited amount of hot water. Everything else was fine.

The good…Location excellent! Close to shopping, restaurants, pubs. Roomy place for two couples. Clean but not perfect. Free safe parking a big plus. Renovating going on and the smell of plaster and wall paper paste in hallways was very strong. Motion lights took too long to go on when entering building in total darkness. Do not use washer/dryer combo. Took over 4 hours and clothes did not dry! Good value

The property is in a great location. Easily walkable to dining, shopping, and tour meeting locations. The apartment we stayed in was well appointed with everything we needed. The town of Killarney is very clean. We felt very safe there.

The photos are very misleading. The front photo is not where you stay...it's a historic building in the city a little ways away. :) The apartment feels a little like an old folks home but it's very clean & comfortable. It had 2 and a half baths which was great since I was traveling with my two sons and husband. Easy walk to a cute street with restaurants and stores. The little bakery by the corner has excellent bread and baked goods.

This property was spacious with 2 beds and 2 baths! Plenty of room for me and my family and the kitchen was stocked with essentials for coffee and light cooking. I loved the homey feel of staying here and the location was excellent! My only Suggestion would be to ask for a few more towels and paper goods when checking in. Overall excellent value. Loved it!

we stayed 4 nights, picked up some groceries. We walked to the grocery store (Dunn's). Great location, its right in town, so you can walk to everything. Lot of different restaurants (pubs, Asian, Italian, ice cream) we went to Paddy Sheehan's to listen to some live local irish music. The apartment was nice/clean/we requested a mountain view which was very nice. The appliances our very different than the USA - once we figured it out it was ok. they did give a booklet with some directions. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. We went to show called Gaelic Roots at the Killarney Ave Hotel. It was great. We loved the Killarney area. we did RIng of Kerry, Dingle Pennisula, The National park and we were supposed to do the Skelling Islands but it was canceled due to high winds. There is alot to do in that area and the natural beauty is nice. The town is really fun too. Plan to stay for several nights to really enjoy the area

Nice sized clean apartment in a great location near Main lots of restaurants and bars. Dunnes grocery is a 5 minute walk away. Rail station is about 20 minutes walk. Front desk staff are really nice and helpful. Very comfy. Bed is full sized so a bit small. Full kitchen and nice sitting room with large TV. Washer works well but dryer does not dry AT ALL - the clothes dried fasting hanging on the rack than in the dryer. TIP - there is a book on the coffee table with clear appliance instructions - the one in the draw is confusing.

If you’re staying a few days this place would be great. Very spacious, fully stocked kitchen with appliances etc. lots of space. Bathroom in comparison and especially the shower were a bit small but still fine. Place is right at the end of the main strip of shops so good location.
