Very convenient location for the key sights in Metz. Helpful and warm-hearted staff.

Extremely convenient location. Easy to find the hotel from the train station. Very helpful staff. Locked luggage storage facility after I'd checked out. Private en suite bath/shower room and toilet. Lovely little café/bakery very close by, with a great little breakfast menu deal.

The room was non-smoking but someone somewhere must have been smoking heavily before I arrived or in my first evening there, as the room smelled badly of cigarette smoke - this may have come through the ventilation system. It cleared up the next day and there was no more difficulty. I don't mind that the décor is a bit tatty, given the fairly cheap price. It would make a better impression if the stairs and landings were cleaner - I think that would not be too difficult to achieve.

Great location for a short stay, otherwise the value for money is a bit low

Friendly staff, good location near the station. Discounted parking across the street - need to ask the reception for a special ticket at checkout. Quite a big room, nice beds.

The building is old and it shows. Stairs are not as nice and clean as they should be. Shower looks bad with old plastic and rusty stains (maybe it's a poor design decision though). With windows to the station square, it's rather noisy; you can also hear the sounds from neighbor rooms. Parking is discounted but could be free. It seems that there are some some long-term customers with families and jobs in the rooms, giving the hotel a bit of a shady feeling.

Comfortable stay at a super location!

Super nice host! Easy acces from highway. Parking garage right minder hotel for 8 euro. Super view of beautiful Gare. Short pleasant walk to Centre and Pompidou. I would come here again!

Shabby and disgusting - terrible!

- Dirty - Shabby - Slow WiFi (around 1mbit/s) - Sink drain jammed - Weird smell in the room - Noisy guests - No garbage bin Original room was not cleaned and made at all. I was given a bigger one, which wasn't really clean either. Dirt in the sink, old water in water boiler. Photos online look way better then reality. Hotel entrance area looks very run down.

Simple and pleasant with just the facilities we needed (car park, bike park and room with view)

Good location, 5-10 min walk from old center. Facility to store bikes for the night. Parking garage (under Place General de Gaulle) very close by with reduced tariff with a voucher from the hotel. It is an old hotel, so things are far from new, but everything functions and our room had a very nice view on the old large railway station. Room was spacious.

Entrance of hotel is shabby, and the hotel looks a little worn-out. However everything functions and rooms are practical.

The location was across the street from the train station. There was a café in front of the hotel.

There was no air conditioning in the hotel and with the windows open there was a lot of street noise. The hotel was dated and the bathroom needed to be renovated.

Nice, ancient style, with an excellent location near the railwaystation, beautiful views on the square, and very well situated close to the The Gaulle Parking. The grain coffee!

Vriendelijk personeel en een goeie locatie. Op zondag hoef je geen parkeergeld te betalen en dat scheelt ook weer. Er zijn genoeg parkeerplekken

Het ontbijt. Op de site staat continentaal ontbijt. Dat was het dus niet. Helaas niet mogelijk om koffie of thee te zetten. Het is een oud gebouw en niet echt goed onderhouden. Bij de eerste kamer trok de wc niet door!

Séjour correct pour dépanner et dormir quelques heures avant de prendre le train

En face de la gare, très grande chambre, toilette séparé de la salle de bain

Chauffage coupé la nuit ainsi que l’eau chaude, chambre vétuste et tables de chevet en état avancé de délabrement. Arrivé un peu avant 23h, pas d’eau chaude pour prendre une douche et pas de chauffage avec une température extérieure négative. A 6h du matin avec le chauffage en route, la température de la chambre était agréable.

Bof

L'emplacement près de la gare et du centre ville. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel à l'accueil est très gentil et serviable. La literie est bonne.

La propreté de la chambre est limite, les rideaux ne ferment pas bien (lumineux la nuit puisque les rideaux ne fonctionnent pas bien, et le volet roulant inoperant), du bruit dans les couloirs car des familles vivent dans l'hôtel et y font à manger. Il y avait des insectes qui se baladaient sur le sol de la.chambre (cafards et pinces oreilles). La chambre mériterait des travaux ainsi que la salle de bains. Ce n'est pas agréable de dormir dans cette chambre, dommage pour ce bel immeuble. Il faudrait faire de gros travaux dans tout l hotel.

L'acceuil du personnel sinon rien

J ai ete tres surpris par les lieux quand je suis arrive. Deja une entree a code pour un Hotel, cela parait bizarre et derriere moi une dame avec ses achats dans un chariot. Des la reception vous etes acceuilli par des enfants qui courent dans les couloirs et des mamans qui esperent tant bien que mal de la calmer. CEla est plus a un refuge temporaire pour demandeur qu'un Hotel. J'ai prefere ne pas rester la et perdre meme mon argent. En tout cas une experience pas du tout agreable.

L'emplacement au centre du vieux metz, la vue

Pas de parking à l'hôtel, la porte fenêtre de la chambre ne ferme pas ,la propreté n'est pas le point fort, le chambranle de serrure de porte des wc est arraché ,l'alarme détection de fumée ce déclenche toute les quatre heures la nuit ( des fumeurs ?) l'état général de l'hôtel faible.

Linge de toilette insuffisant et sale .Nous avons dû en réclamer le changement, Drap du dessus de lit enfant troué. Etat de la douche et du lavabo à la limite de la propreté. Volet roulant qui ne fonctionne pas.

La douche ne fonctionnait pas, le petit déjeuner était sommaire dans une salle sinistre, l'ascenseur était en panne, le tout donnait une impression de vétusté, à un prix certes très bas.
