The bathroom was VERY small.

The hotel is close to the train station and the old town . The breakfast was very good.
The hotel is a little dated and dark in the hallways.
It would probably help if the walls were painted a lighter color ,but this did not impact our stay.

An old and interesting building modernised in Ibis Styles. Very good value breakfast.

No issues with hotel. The guy at reception spoke very good English and was really helpful.
Parking was a nightmare. Hotel has dealt with one car park which I couldn't find after driving around in circles for over an hour. Eventually parked opposite hotel with parking meter.
It turned out the parking lot is under ground with height restrictions so my van wouldn't have fitted even if I did find it.

The hotel is perfectly located. Close to the station and the Centre Pompidour as well as the city centre, which ia just 15 mins walk away.
The staff was very friendly. We had an issue with our room and we were immediately offered another one. Breakfast was nothing special, but acceptable.
The first room we were given really smelled. We were immediately offered another one, which also had a bit of a smell (but much better than the previous one). The rooms are big but dated and could really do with a refreshing.
The bed was also not comfortable. The mattress made you slope towards the middle.

Room was nice, and bathroom big and good TV.
I was lying on my bed and the next door occupant walked into my room as the lock between the two rooms was broken. Moved the chair by the door incase it happened again.

Really nice hotel, close to the train station and a short walk away from the centre of town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room had a pleasant atmosphere.

Very good location close to T he train station
parking was not on the property but was a short walk away at the train station that you paid €9.2 per day. No choice at breakfast. You get a cold breakfast with raw eggs that you yourself have to boil in the machine, which takes about 20 minutes.
My opinion money not worth it for the features they claim to offer but do poorly maybe a 2 start hotel

The staff upon arrival were extremely friendly and polite. The room felt a little tired, but the location is fantastic, you are close to everything and I even had time for a pleasant run in the local parks.
Felt the room layout was a little old...bathrooms could definitely do with an update.

The only positive thing about this hotel was the location and that’s where it ended.
Firstly, the property was dirty and desperate need of a clean and to be decorated. The carpets are filthy when you walk in they desperately need cleaning the breakfast was quite poor. Then the stuff. The staff with the rudest people I’ve ever met in all the years I’ve used in.com and been the highest level user I’ve booked and stared with Work with my men everywhere. The front of our staff been in the reception were the rudest I’ve ever encountered. One man in particular has a huge chip on his shoulder and he needs disciplining and sucking from the Hotel. This person was unprofessional and borderline aggressive towards me had no idea how to deal with a request for a bottle of water and how to de-escalate the situation. I was offering to buy the water and he was being extremely aggressive towards me which was disappointing he claims he is the director in charge and the owner of the hotel which I find impossible, who would be working in front of House and being a company director and owner of the group? The person then followed me out of the hotel onto the public Street to further have a confrontation with me. I would’ve happily had the police there but it was pathetic due to asking for a bottle of water anybody who is reviewing this, that is a director of this group needs to speak to me, and have this investigated.

Very stylish Art Nouveau building kept alive by a limited (and tastefully executed) modern refurbishment. Even if the hotel is clearly no longer the upper-class luxury palace that it must have been around 1900, it is still quite wonderful, filling one with a sense of history. Amazing original staircase, makes you want to spurn the elevator. Very good breakfast that included fresh fruit, pancakes, a variety of croissants and more. Friendly and uncomplicated staff. Perfect location, practically next to the train station and a short walk from the city centre.
Sound insulation in a historical hotel is never going to be perfect, so one occasionally hears the neighbours. As the hotel seems to attract a mostly civilised clientele, this is not really a problem though.

Easy walk to/from the train station. Nothing but quality from the building (which used to be the Royal Hotel), to the room and the breakfast. Everything was top notch.
I only planned one night.

The staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
It was extremely convenient to be able to have breakfast from 6.00 a.m.
There was only one rather small lift so getting to the upper floors sometimes needed a bit of patience
