Great friendly hotel

I had a very warm welcome from the staff considering I was a very late arrival. Lovely bar to have a night cap, comfy room with all the facilities I could ask for and very clean. Great location for whay I needed and all the staff were amazing. Breakfast was also lovely with a great choice. Will definitely stay again.

I liked the price. The breakfast was ok. I loved the shower. The bed was comfortable. I liked the bottle of water provided. Good tv channels lots of options.

The size of room was small. The noise from the rooms next door can hear everything as it's only a door separating you.

A lovely popular hotel with superb staff and dining arrangements. Secure parking at rear of the property. Excellent breakfast selection. Well stocked bar and the Guinness was superb. Sensible pricing. Well done.

Comfortable Stay with Great Breakfast and Friendly Staff

I stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor and facilities, but everything was very clean and well maintained. It may not be modern, but it’s definitely comfortable and well kept. The breakfast was a nice surprise – quite complete and varied, with good quality options to start the day. There's also the option to have dinner at the hotel, which is convenient, especially considering the limited dining options in the area during the week. After a certain hour, it can be quite difficult to find a place to eat nearby – mostly just fast food like pizza, kebabs, or burgers are available. One thing worth noting is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Just keep in mind there is no elevator, but they warned us and offered an alternative accommodation.

The morning breakfast is my favorite. They have a cold breakfast buffet with the necessary staples, and take your coffee order right away. Then a hot menu is available with made to order pancakes, or full Irish (gluten free options too).

Great hotel

This is our 3rd stay and we're returning in September for a 4th stay. That speaks for itself :) My favourite part of staying here is the food that they serve. Breakfast is amazing. We had the salmon for lunch and it was beautiful. Highly recommend eating in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Happy customers ☺️

Lovely hotel but on busy road.

Excellent breakfast and lovely room

The room was at the front next to a busy and noisy road which was being used in July by farm vehicles up to about midnight and then 6 in the morning. The road was also a main route for traffic from Dublin to west coast.

Good location but noisy on the street side

The staff made us very comfortable and the location and facilities were good.

We were above the front door and hear the crowd leave the bar in the early hours, and then hang about in the street for around an hour, talking and whistling at the cars doing street racing at 2am.

Excellent location in centre of town. opposite Murphy’s bar, possibly one of the best bars in Ireland. Great to stay first week in May when the Fleadh is taking place. Bar food is good, too..

Rooms are slightly small but that’s just the nature of an older building, I think.
