Everything was fantastic from check in to check out, the staff were really friendly and nice the food was superb and everything was clean and comfortable , bedrooms were well stocked with toiletries etc Just a very pleasant experience altogether, Best hotel breakfast in a long time,

A wonderful stay

Food is fabulous, something on the menu for everyones taste, staff were extremely friendly and tended to our needs. Derek is as friendly as you can get, his attention to his guests goes above and beyond. He goes out of his way to make your stay very comfortable. We always enjoy our stay here and we would highly recommend the Longcourt hotel.

Nice looking hotel and good location. Very friendly staff.

Absolutely no sound proofing can hear other guests talking, snoring and walking around all night as a heavy sleeper I don't often wake up at night but I was woken 4 times in the night by other guests. The bed sheets had stains and the kettle in the room didn't work.

The chairs in our room were quite uncomfortable. Originally we were allocated a room on 2nd floor. My husband had problem walking so she quickly changed us to ground floor . But we were at very end of corridor which meant he still had a long walk to our room

Nice hotel, great food, great staff, request a non road facing room.

Staff were top class. Building and atmosphere is excellent.

Room was road and front carpark facing and windows did nothing to keep out any of the noise. Conversations of people outside were clearly heard in the room. Traffic noise entering the room was high.

Perfect location- staff went over and above-will certainly be back

Freshly cooked breakfast options- no buffet with food hanging around in trays-very good options. The staff were second to none- very helful and couldn't do enough. There was a miscommunication due to a scam but the hotel managed to reach a restorative resolution very quickly. The food in the bistro in the evening was exceptional for the price- very good value -highly recommended.

Due to a scam we were given the wrong room but staff were exceptional in changing this despite being fully booked.

Great option for NCW

It is very easy to get to and easy parking and the rooms are a good size. Bar and restaurant facilities serve simple but good grub.

The downstairs bedrooms have fold up beds! I don’t get that at all. And at 6ft they are too small. Stayed before in the first floor and no complaints. Get bigger beds please!

Very difficult to park there had to go to adjacent parking due to lack of parking space. Dark small rooms, dated. Window gives to parking lot. Average breakfast, limited choices. Hotel for groups. Wouldn’t cone back with family. Burnt burger for dinner.

The food at the restaurant, we had dinner and took the breakfast in the morning. Everything was good, they even proposed a colouring for the Kids. The room was quite large for a family. .

Very little details: The small size of the tv. And the lack of apps (netflix, Amazon,...). The shower head not flexible.

Great staff, good food and restful sleeps

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was really great for breakfast and dinner. The room was bigger than I had expected, very spacious with a large adapted bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Was travelling for business and I found the room to be nice and quiet where I got restful sleeps!

As I had an adapted room, I found it difficult not to get the entire bathroom floor wet when showering. May I make a suggestion of a heavier shower curtain in this room

Had a few days in Newcastle West, and this is our second stay at the Long court and all was good. A little expensive per night but still a good stay.

A lovely warm welcome from extremely helpful and lovely staff, honestly the kindest genuine staff I have come across in a hotel. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

We arrived later than expected due to a flight delay. Unfortunately we were so late the restaurant was closed. This was not a problem as we were invited to order a take-a-way which we were allowed to eat in the bar. Both Marion on reception & with the help of Padraig this made us feel very welcome. We chose a place out of the way so as not to intrude on the other guests in the bar. But this was so nice as we were able to enjoy our quick dinner at a table, rather than eat in the room. The service overall was very warm from all staff in the bar & again at breakfast. Breakfast was great, I had the mini Irish breakfast which was perfect & just enough, the Porridge was also lovely. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The room was of a nice size for 2 people. There was some noise from traffic first thing in the morning (this was from a front facing room 205). Thank you to all, we look forward to a return stay.

Nice Hotel

We were in the area for an event outside the hotel. The hotel was fine, room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Breakfast was served (not buffet) but tasty. We both had Full Irish with coffees.

After the event we arrived back to the hotel and decided given the beautiful sunny evening we'd go for a drink and sit out in the outside seating area however we were declined entry as it was booked for an event, this was disappointing. We had to drink our drinks in the hotel lobby as the bar was full, needless to say we only had the one. Would have been nice if there was part of the outdoor area reserved for hotel residents.

Good location, however a lot of road noise and people outside being loud

Pillows incredibly hard. Floor in the bathroom is not non slip, I slipped getting out of the shower and hurt my shoulder, staff and management were very kind to me the next morning when I told them what happened.
