An excellent homestay, well located, and could be a good base for tripping around the area.

Location, being 2 minutes out of town, gave both tranquility and a good view over the countryside. Roads to location are excellent. Hostess was very welcoming and settled us into our rooms and showed us the breakfast facilities.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, we stayed one night an honestly can not fault anything, Lisa was so warm an welcoming, room was spotless, beds were soooo comfortable 😊 was a home from home feeling, we booked an stayed last minute as we had a family members funeral an she was just the sweetest an made us feel so welcome, an food was so fresh an amazing. Made our stay alot more comforting considering the circumstances, thanks so much Lisa, such a beautiful soul ❤️

Wonderful bed and breakfast 💕

Lovely rooms with comfy beds, toilet with shampoo/conditioner and everything you need. Quiet and relaxing. Easy check-in even though we arrived late. A wonderful breakfast prepared by Lisa which we thank from the bottom of our hearts for making our short stay so lovely.

The farmhouse was lovely and our room was spacious and spotless. Lisa was there to welcome us and we gave us local recommendations. We wanted for nothing and were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious too. A great spot on our way home (flying back from Shannon).

Hostess Lisa couldn't have been more accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent beds and a nice bath. The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed our conversation with Lisa and meeting her daughters. This lodging has a very welcoming, homestyle atmosphere which we enjoyed. We intend on staying there again on our next visit to Ireland.

Beautiful and warm welcoming home

We really enjoyed the hospitality of the host, Lisa. A true gem tucked away in the Irish countryside. It is very quiet and peaceful just outside of Abbyfeale. She made us feel warm and welcomed, like family coming to visit for the first time in years. She makes a homemade breakfast which was lovely. The grounds are beautiful with blooming flowers, on a hill where you can see the town of Abbyfeale. A meal at the local hotel restaurant was very nice, as well.

Nice big room with en suite bathroom. Everything was really, really clean and tidy. Quiet country location. Lisa was so helpful arranging self check in for me when I realised I was going to be later than expected. Gluten free breakfast? No problem! I can highly recommend Fitzgerald's Farmhouse and I would definitely stay here again.

Hospitality at its finiest!

I booked this because I was traveling from Cliffs of Moher in the evening to Skelling Islands the next day, and the location was perfect along the way. Given that I would have to arrive late and depart early, I communicated this consideration. Lisa stayed in detailed communication throughout the whole experience to set everything up for my late contactless check-in, and get the breakfast ready for my early morning departure. She's a super host! I had eggs , bacon, cheese, irish ham, yoghurt and nuts, and everything was delicious. The place has a very charming and welcoming, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I strongly recommend this stay!

Great place to stay!

Easy to find. Room was large and bathroom was clean and water was very hot. Arrived slightly earlier than expected time but Lisa was so welcoming, making a pot of tea and finding toys for our 1year old. We also had to leave earlier than the normal breakfast time but Lisa was able to make us breakfast before leaving for the airport. Would happily stay here again!

Very easy to find. Booked last minute and host very accommodating. Room was lovely. Bathroom had a great hot shower. Very nice breakfast.

Unfortunately family also stayed the same night with a child that cried all night in room next door, so didn’t get much sleep but that was NOT THE HOSTS fault.

The double room also contained a single bed - a desk or table would have been much more useful, and somewhere to sit other than the bed would be good. The bed was very soft.
