We stayed whilst on a bike ride Thornbury Lodge was en route. The location was quiet and peaceful.
The room particularly the bathroom had cobwebs and dust on the surfaces.

Reasonable quiet
Unusual TV remote control took a long time to figure out - and reception could have resolved it in a couple of minutes if they had answered the phone instead of playing endless promotions.
