Lann Dearg Studios

I liked everything about this studio. It was super comfortable and really a pleasure to stay at. The hosts were amazing; they were helpful and provided everything to make our stay better. The room is very well-equipped; the kitchen is good, the beds are perfect, and the bathroom is as well. The details and decorations throughout really make it all the more relaxing and enjoyable. Also, the surroundings are so close to nature, with the window to spot birds and squirrels. It was a highlight of our trip.

I really loved everything about the stay. I would only say that it is a long drive to the studio, so it requires a bit of careful planning. Also, it is quite a remote place, so there aren't lots of things nearby to rely on. But the amazing hosts have all of this covered, providing instructions and tips for making the most out of the stay.

The location was convenient for local shops and pub. We were met by Nicky who was very helpful and described the wildlife in the garden by our window in studio number 2. Superb kitchen and bathroom and very welcoming bed and lounge area. The highlight was watching all the birds feeding - we counted between 20 and 40 birds including finches, siskins, robins, blackbirds and a jay. If that wasn't enough we had three red squirrels scampering about. Absolutely delightful. Nicky said a badger and a pine marten visited every night but we never saw them sadly.

So well designed with everything we needed. Very thoughtful. Lovely greeting from the hosts. We couldn't find a fault if we tried.
