Great lodge right on the Caledonian canal

We absolutely loved the lodge. A lot of thought had clearly gone in to the layout of the apartment and furnishings of the apartment. It was very clean, very comfortable and there was plenty of space. Great location, right on the canal and close to shops and restaurants. Heather was also very friendly and helpful and gave very good advice on places to eat.

The lodge was really cosy and the location really is amazing! Heather is a lovely host too. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I wish we had bedding like that at home! We’d love to stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

We didn’t realise there would be no cooking facilities with the exception of a microwave but it was really no problem since there are lots of lovely places to eat in the area.

Location, Location! Approximately 150 ft. from the locks. Beautifully done lodge. Very quiet. Short walk to several very nice restaurants. Very nice, friendly owners. Interesting to see sailboats and cruise ships using the lock system.

Perfection

Perfect location right by the locks on the canal. The place was quiet, extremely clean, and very well presented. Is self-contained with a fridge and.mini freezer and microwave. Couldn't ask for.more.and bed was extremely comfortable. 10 out of 10 for me You will not be disappointed

Perfect little lodge, great location, amazing hosts, spotlessly clean, cosy & warm!

We got caught out in a snow storm and had to find somewhere to stay for the night at short notice. The owners could not have been more accommodating. 5 minutes after booking, they came to pick us up in their 4x4 as our car was stranded. When we arrived at the lodge they had already put the heating on and put some milk in the fridge. The lodge it’s self has been really well thought out, feels brand new, very clean & cosy.
