Great location for vieux Lyon

Excellent location- could walk everywhere . Lovely decor and view. Near restaurants

80 steps to the flat and only one toilet between 4 people. Also only one key so couldn’t leave seoarately

Great location and a very well equipped apartment. The view was lovely of the river and buildings. A very spacious apartment.

As expected in older buildings, no lift, however it is worth the climb (to walk off all of the pastries!).

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful city.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The view from inside the apartment was outstanding and it was so well located in the old town. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and watch the river traffic.

The are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. I wouldn't recommend it for people who were not fit.

La Pepite is a glorious place to stay. It’s comfortable, it has everything you could possibly want in it, so clean and pretty with an immaculate view of the river. We really loved it here. The 4 flights of stairs weren’t really a challenge considering the view you get from there and the restaurants and cafes nearby were wonderful. Walking distance to the Basilica, Cobains (gluten free patisserie), the Les Halles market and lots of other things. Sabrina, our host, answered our questions quickly and was a kind and thoughtful guide.

Stunning views and beautiful open living area

The view! it's amazing. Lovely loft apartment with a stunning view. Everything you need is here, it's very well appointed. The living area is so beautiful and a great place to relax and watch the water. there are 2 bedrooms and a loft. The bedrooms are very small and the loft has a very low roof (no suitable for children) but it was great for our family.

The stairs, there are a lot! and they are big stairs. We're pretty fit but these got us.

Lyon, with great location and beautiful views.

The apt was spacious, clean and in an ideal location! Overlooking the river and bridges, the veiw was beautiful at anytime of day or night. Although there was no Air Conditioning, due to being located in a heritage area, multiple ceiling and floor fans kept it comfortable, even with 30 degree C highs while we were there.

It was not an issue for us, but the views came with the 4th floor apt! Be sure you are okay with taking stairs. We are moderately fit women in our 60s, and just needed to take a small break at the second floor

Great place and location fantastic host would highly recommend.

The location was fantastic close to restaurants, shops and public transport. Being right on the river was great. The apartment was spacious and clean with a nice feel to it. We were a group of 3 friends but it would also be good for a family and school aged kids. The host was very responsive and gracious, she left us some laundry detergent when we asked and gave clear instructions on how to get to the apartment and access the keys.

We liked everything but there are no lifts / elevators in the building. The apartment is on the 4th floor and we had big suitcases to carry up and down which was tricky for us. For families if you have adventurous toddlers there is a loft with steep stairs in the apartment that might not be suitable.

Our second time staying here and it’s still perfect. Great location, parking close by in a lot, and lots of activities, eating, and shopping walking distance. And the view!!! Especially while watching the sun come up over the river during breakfast!

A small piece of heaven next to the praying hill

It’s a peacef refuge overlooking the city and yet so convenient to the old town and all the history and museums, restaurants, concerts. It’s a wonderful place

The apartment exceeded our expectations in all respects and felt like a home from home.

Both the location and the view from the apartment were ideal. It was exceptionally well equipped and presented and scrupulously clean. Certainty a great base to return to after a day exploring the city.

The only downside was the number of steps up to the fourth floor.

Wonderful converted flat in Lyon overlooking the river - thoroughly recommend.

The flat was beautifully renovated and very well equipped. We loved the views over the river - it was all splendid! The owners were very responsive.

The bedrooms were a bit small and the single beds were really only appropriate for children.

Beautiful property with amazing host, too hot in the summer with air conditioning

This apartment is absolutely stunning and in the best location to see Lyon. We were able to look out of our window and see the river which was dreamy. It was in the Old Town and most of the main sights were within walking distance for us.

The main issue for us was no air conditioning. We understood it is in a UNESCO heritage site but on a 35 degree day we could not function in the apartment. Our child also struggled as the fan only blew hot air. The flat is also up 4 flights of stairs which again was very hard with a child and luggage.
