Beautiful Maastricht but very crowded!

We stayed 3 nights and booked this B/B because all the hotels in Maastricht centre were sold out. When we arrived we were quite surprised to find we would be staying in the next door building which was an 18c monastery! It was spotlessly clean and refurbished to a modern standard. Our room however, was very small but it was fine. The shelves above the coat stand were too high for me to use. The bathroom was adequate but made the room area very tight to move around with two people staying. This room would be perfect as a single room! The family run restaurant and bar was excellent, delicious food served by the friendly family. We thank you for giving us a packed breakfast on the day we left because it was at 6am. We would stay again perhaps in summer time because the area is lovely for walking and cycling, We drove our car into Maastricht and found the car parks useful and in good location. We booked this trip to see the Christmas concert at the MECC and to see our Dutch friends. A very nice short break. Thank you. Vanda and Jan

Very disappointed with a visit to the museum. Selected for the Ipanema restaurant inside. We arrived to be told most items on the menu were unavailable! A very expensive entrance fee (44 euros for two people) and mainly displaying religious artefacts. The modern section was awful, pornographic images!! No thank you! I would not recommend anyone to see this unless they were keen on crucifixes. We were meeting friends and found it difficult to find a bar,restaurant or cafe with places to sit down!

Hidden gem close to Maastricht-don’t miss it!

Close to Maastricht but in a peaceful small town. Newly remodeled modern rooms with a nice restaurant on the property (Eetcafe Riekelt). Staff was exceptional especially Loïc who made us feel very welcome.

Probably best to be traveling by car as public transit options are limited.

A convenient, friendly, clean hotel/ restaurant which exceeded expectations.

Excellent selection of breads, boiled egg, meats and cheese, yoghurts, fruit, pastries, coffee or tea brought to each table. Much more than enough. Very COVID secure as no buffet. Coffee refills without asking. Friendly staff. Great start to the day.

We didn’t mind but there is staircase to the bedrooms in a converted church opposite the restaurant which might be difficult if a guest has mobility issues.

Wenn ich mal wieder nach Maastricht komme, werde ich gern wieder hier buchen.

Superfreundliche Gastgeber! Im sauberen Zimmer war alles, was man von einem B&B erwarten darf. Das Frühstück war einfach großartig. Leider hatte ich keine Gelegenheit, das angeschlossene Restaurant zu testen. Aber es scheint recht beliebt zu sein und das wird wohl auch einen guten Grund haben. Wer nicht unbedingt mitten im teuren Maastricht wohnen möchte, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
